My husband and I ended up staying here because all of our other favorite hotels were not available on the AMEX booking site and we wanted to use our points. We figured we would give it a try because it was the best rated of the hotels left on the list. We stayed here 3 nights. This is a decent...

Overall, great hotel. Rooms very small, but nicely decorated and very very clean. Bathroom's small size required some flexible maneuvering to navigate. Trendy clubs and bars in the hotel. Didn't check them out, but did hear the music going till late (music could be easily drowned out by turning on the AC fan though). Centrally located, friendly staff. Daily free...

Queen room on the small side and the corridors were on the stuffy side due to the heat in Boston this July but bed was comfortable and service fantastic. In particular the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, professional and courteous. Great location, close to Copley Square, Newbury Street, The Prudential Center and short ride to all the history Boston...

My boyfriend and I stayed here last week. The room and bathroom were kinda' small, but I was expecting that considering our reservation type (and from other reviews). I did bump my head on the wall in the bathroom a couple times the first couple of nights, but I eventually caught on and got accustomed to the proximity of the...

For the most part, the Copley Square Hotel is a good place and I'd stay there again. My room and room and bathroom were quite small, but it was what I was expecting for the type room I reserved. However, it was more than adequate for my needs. Comfortable beds and great shower with excellent water pressure! There are no...

My family with two little ones stayed here summer 2013. Great location makes it easy to get everywhere walking and using the T. Rooms are on the smallish side but very nice and clean. An good grocery store on the next block made breakfasts simple.

The room was a normal size, and was perfectly fine. The location was excellent (close to shopping, tour trolleys/duck, major sites, parks). And simply a lovely area to walk around. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. Wifi is free. I would stay here again, but only for a one night stay, and I know I'd be in a safe,...

Great location for this hotel, and generally very attentive and helpful staff. The rooms aren't the kind you're going to spend much time in, as they are generally quite dark and there are no views from the windows, but as a place to stay it's great for access to the T line and central Boston, and has tons of fabulous...

Reading some of the reviews of this hotel prior to my stay, I was a little concerned that the room was going to be tiny. I live near NYC, so i understand that city hotel rooms are usually a bit smaller, so I wasn't expecting much. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The room size was just fine! My friend and...

Wonderful boutique style hotel. Clean modern amenities. Amazingly friendly staff. Great location. Would return again without hesitation. Walk to T station and Fenway. Great dining blocks away. Walls a little thin, mattress slightly firmer than my taste any issues, very minor.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
