This is a Great well maintained Hotel. Has been improved with a very modern Style. Even it's very Old ( around 1927 ). Lobby look vey updated. Room service very good. Bathroom small, that's a original configuration. Great place to stay.

Loved the building and the decor. But the rooms were tiny and the bathroom tinier. Excellent fitness center. Was there for a conference so convenience to area attractions and restaurants was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gorgeous facility.

This is a really nice hotel in a great location. Our room was clean, the staff is very helpful and nice, and you can get a good cappuccino in the morning down at the bar. My only complaint is that the bathroom is incredibly small. Two people could not be getting ready at the same time, and there really wasn't...

This hotel has a lot going for it--great location, helpful staff, nice Keurig coffeepot with decent coffee in the cups placed in the bedroom (instead of in the bathroom!), nice soft bed, phone charger setup on both sides of the king side bed, safe in the room, clean room, too---BUT our room was the smallest we have ever had! anywhere....

We were traveling to Boston for a graduation and only staying two nights...thankfully because the room would not have worked. I guess I should have planned better but there was so little space that once we set up the pack and play for our baby we couldn't really move. It took some maneuvering of the small table and chair but...

This was the smallest room I have ever experienced. No flat space to store anything, a tiny closet and one tiny drawer. The shower was claustrophobic. No toilet paper holder, cheap plastic cups. I was never notified when a package was delivered and was then inaccurately promised it would be delivered to my room when I asked. I had to...

Spent 2 nights at the Park Plaza and loved its service, location and overall quality. While the Boston area is quite pricey, we found a deal on Priceline and lucked into this place. I do think they should offer free internet. In this day and age it really just makes sense. They have some odd rules in the city as...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

“Very low water pressure. Extremely small bathrooms with no counter space. Otherwise a lovely property in a great location. ”

“I paid extra for a room that would accommodate both a,sleeper sofa and a rollaway bed. When I checked in the lady that helped me said she had a great room for us but it was not finished being cleaned and she would call when it was ready. When we came back later, the girl that served us was anything but helpful. She would not give me the keys until my husband came to show his ID even though I had checked in and paid earlier without him. The room she gave us was not what we had paid for and would not have fit all of the beds. The bellman confirmed that she had given us the wrong room and said "they do that all the time". Essentially they tried to have us pay for an upgrade and not give us the upgrade hoping we wouldn't say anything. The sink leaked and the window wouldn't shut all the way. Far too much money to pay for this level of service.”
