I stayed 4 weeks in CAJ House Tremont St. (apartment 9) in January-February 2011. My experience there was TRULY EXCELLENT! The size of the apartment was more than enough for a single occupant. The bathroom was quite big and had a bath. The whole apartment was perfectly clean upon arrival (also linen, towels...) and everything was perfectly in order. During...

Just got back to New York after a four month stay at 677 Tremont. Lived here while taking a course at Boston University...loved the coziness of the studio apartment and the warmth and professionalism of the people who own and run it. Walter and Mike are the best. Walk out the front door of the building, go in any direction,...

The CAJ House is a modern, affordable place to stay while in Boston. It is fairly centrally located. The Prudential Center is not a long walk away, and neither is Symphony Hall. Getting downtown is a bit longer, but in Boston nothing is really that far away. My only quibble is that the wireless they provide is on the slow...

My 16 yr. old daughter and I came to Boston for a 5 week "adventure". She attended Berklee College of Music each weekday, and I was free to explore the city and relax. The Tremont apartment was perfect as far as being centrally located for us. Berklee is about 10 minutes away, as is the Prudential Bldg., where I stopped...

I stayed at CAJ house in Tremont Street for 5 weeks whilst studying at Northeastern University during a very hot July 2010. I found the CAJ house team absolutely brilliant and happy to accommodate any request. They replaced a broken iron in half a day and were happy to give me a place for my large bag after check-out until...

I had a wonderful stay at CAJ House this summer. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the surrounding area had fantastic shops and restaurants. Plus, Walter fixed what (very few) problems I had within several hours and was very warm and welcoming during my stay. I also loved the decor - but most of all the apartment was clean,...

Just got back from a month at CAJ on Tremont Street. Great Experience! My unit was just like the photos - neat, clean, and quiet (well, except for the sounds of the city outside - if you want to avoid that, ask for a unit at the back). Walter, the owner is friendly, knowledgeable and eager for guests to have...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
