We offer studio, one, two and three bedroom cottages and log cabins located just 6 miles from downtown Asheville and 8 miles from The Biltmore Estate. The Pines Cottages is a great place to stay while visiting Asheville and Western North Carolina because we offer more than just a hotel room. We are pet friendly and our 4 1/2 acres of grounds offer a place to walk your dog, sit next to a fire around our fire pit or cook-out on one of our grills.

Stayed 2 nights in #6 with our 2 dogs. The cabin was exceptionally clean with a 1950's / 60's ambience. Kitchen was adequately stocked since we cook our own meals. Loved the firepit outside as well as the fireplace inside. Would definitely recommend to anyone and hope to visit again.

The cabin was so quaint and very clean. Cilla and the staff was great too. Also, the location was perfect to get to the attractions we were there for, Biltmore and Blue Ridge Parkway. We will be returning! The Lindsey's.

We stayed in the biggest cabin (I believe #16) with a group of 4 friends and 1 dog. We loved it here. We spent a weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. The front yard in front of the cabin was great for the dog. There was a tire swing which was fun as well as a fire pit although we didn’t use it. The front porch is great to hang out on. The cabin itself has a large living room with a fireplace that was great at warming up the cabin. The kitchen and dining room are also large and great for hosting. 3 bedrooms could easily sleep 3 couples. Only downside I would say is there’s only 1 bathroom although the master bedroom does have a sink at least so the people staying in that room could use the sink to wash up and brush your teeth while somebody else is using the bathroom but a second toilet would have been great. Check in was easy and check out super easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with bringing more towels and helping us figure out the fire place. The cabins themselves are on a road out in a remote rural area right outside Asheville. Took us 12 min driving to get downtown. At first driving in I didn’t know what to expect but ended up loving it here.

I stayed at the Pines Cottages for two nights (New Year's Eve and New Year's Day) as part of a mini road trip that included a stop at Biltmore for their Candlelight Christmas event. The goal was to make the most of the experience by choosing a rustic, yet comfortable cabin that evoked the spirit of North Carolina's history. The Pines was a good choice overall and I enjoyed my time there. Close to antique shops, the interstate, and Biltmore. The decor for Cabin 7 includes a mix of vintage and modern accents and furniture. Loved the kitchen sink, bathroom tile, medicine cabinet, wood paneling, beams, and folksy front porch complete with rocking chairs. They even lit a campfire-scented candle before arrival so that the cabin would smell great. Good lighting outside and I felt very safe. Found a hair dryer and toiletries in the darling bathroom cabinet. Road noise was not noticeable from Cabin 7, but there was a white noise machine available if needed. The only thing I would change would be to replace the couch with one made of faux leather or some other easily wipeable surface, or to cover the current couch with a slipcover that can be washed every so often. There were two strands of dark brown hair stuck to the shower wall before I entered, and the kitchen table is oversized for the space and very wobbly to the extent that one cannot cut food on it, but those are minor issues compared to the overall experience. I did not use the back porch or grill because it rained heavily almost the entire second day and night, but it seems lovely. I spent the second day and night alone at the property and felt very safe as a single woman.

Thanks so much for the positive review. We appreciate you taking the time. We're glad to know that you enjoyed cottage 7. It's one of my favorites. We will spend the winter giving each cottage some TLC and will certainly take a look at our options for the sofa and kitchen table. I will notify our maintenance person to fix the wobbling. I am very sorry to hear that you found hair in the bathtub. That is unacceptable and certainly not up to our standard of cleaning. I hope you will consider us again next time you visit Asheville. Each cottage and cabin is unique and I think you will enjoy some of the other ones too. Stay well.

We stayed (again) in Cottage 15 at The Pines Cottages. This is our second or third stay at the cottages and we always have a wonderful experience when we stay here. the office and staff are very friendly and make sure you have everything you need. Cottage #15 is great, we love it! It is a two-bedroom cottage and it has all the room we need. The cottages are always clean and comfortable. We have also stayed in Cottage #7 in the past. We will be back!!
