My husband and I really enjoyed staying in The Pines Cottages! Our quaint and cozy unit was very clean. Check-in was quick, the management went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and there was such a wonderful feeling of home. In the evenings we sat by the fire pit and visited with other people staying in the cottages or could relax on the porch swing. Plus, the price was very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again and will encourage friends to stay there when in the Asheville area!

We stayed in Cabin 8. The bed was really comfortable and the road noise didn't bother us, as it quieted down after 10ish. A few things could be cleaned up a little - knobs in shower and vacuum under bed. There were powers strips with a lot of items plugged in. It did remind us of being at the cabin. Overall, we liked the Pines and would stay here again. Rebecca in the office was very friendly and recommended some great restaurants.

I will have the housekeeping department take care of them today. We are happy you chose to stay and we hope to see you again in the near future.

The cabin (we were in cabin 9) was clean, well stocked and fairly comfortable. However, the electrical system is scary - so few outlets that they have power strips everywhere. The screens don't fit the windows very well, so we could never open the windows, the bugs would get in. The curtain rods fell apart when we tried to open the curtains - some duct tape would solve that! But worst of all, was the noise from the highway right behind our cabin - we wouldn't have wanted the windows open anyway. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, but no, we will not be staying there again.

Cathy, We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately there isn't much more we can do about the road noise. We note it on our website and we provide the ear plugs, a sound machine, and a fan for white noise. There is less noise in the cottages located in the middle of our property. As far as the maintenance issues you have mentioned those have already been shared with our team . I apologize for the windows not having good fitting screens and for the curtain rod falling those are definitely things under our control.. Thank you again for sharing your review with us .

Our cute little cottage lacked for no thoughtful touches. It was EXTREMELY clean and stocked with sweet amenities, like coffee and accoutrements, a white noise machine (to block out road noise), and bath products. Rebecca was very helpful with the room and answering questions about the area. Bed was very comfortable. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was the very small shower. But the water pressure was great, lol! I would definitely stay again.

Everyone who works here is so nice and attentive. My husband and I have stayed here many times and will definitely be back again some day soon. We always feel safe and warm and welcome. We called the office asking for a breakfast tray, and because they knew we were there for our babymoon, they went above and beyond. Suffice to say: this place is a gem.
