This was our first time staying at The Lion and The Rose and we had a wonderful experience. The innkeepers are welcoming and very accommodating. They bring up coffee while you are getting ready in the morning. I have several food allergies (gluten and nuts) and they were so accommodating. I honestly had a hard time believing that the breakfasts...

Thie Lion and the Rose is a wonderful place to stay while in Asheville! The inn is super clean, elegant, inviting, and the breakfasts are unique and delicious. Our family of five stayed for several nights and we would not hesitate to stay again in the future. The location of the inn in the historic Montford district is within walking...

Asheville and Savannah are our two favorite southern cities, but Asheville does have those mountains and the Biltmore. We stayed at the Lion and Rose again during January, and even though the weather wasn't the best, there was still plenty to do, and the inn was a great place to come home to. The place is spotless and well decorated...

We were only able to stay one night but Jim and Linda made it very enjoyable and relaxing in their immaculate bed and breakfast Inn. Linda got us tickets to the Biltmore so upon our arrival we immedialtey took off for the Biltmore to spend the afternoon. We also went back the next day to tour the winery. Unfortunately the...

My husband and I stayed at the Lion and The Rose last weekend. It was our first time there but not in Asheville. Since we have never stayed in such a bed and breakfast before, we did not know what to expect. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the place, the hospitality of the hosts, the various amenities...

Jim and Linda proved to be excellent hosts, going every extra mile to insure comfort, delicious breakfast, and friendliness in their beautiful facility. The house was clean, attractively furnished, and led to peace of mind, comfort, and over all a great mini-vacation for us.

I stayed at the Lion and The Rose for a weekend trip to Asheville and loved it. Jim and Linda were very welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is located in a lovely area of town but still very close to downtown Asheville. I would definitely recommend it to anyone exploring Asheville.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! Jim and Linda couldn't have been nicer hosts. We stayed in the Margaret Grace room and really enjoyed our accommodations. We elected to sleep in and ended up missing breakfast, so the only thing I would have changed about our trip was waking up early enough to catch breakfast. We can't wait...

My wife and I took a 4 day trip to Asheville from 2-14-13 through 2-17-13. The reason for our trip included our 6th wedding anniversary as well as a fact-finding mission as we would like to relocate to North Carolina in the future. We decided to stay at The Lion and The Rose based on Trip Advisor reviews. We arrived...
