We did a quick weekend to Asheville to visit Biltmore for the umpteenth time. Aberdeen was a great choice for us. Convenient to downtown, a $6 uber ride, we enjoyed all the aminities Ashville has to offer. Tom was so helpful with suggestions and he tailor made a breakfast considering each guest's dietary needs! We will stay there again.

Tom and his wife truly make every effort to make your stay a pleasant one. The morning breakfasts were my favorite with charming decor on the quaint porch and food that reveals Tom's excellent cooking (he was a chef). We had young children with us and they were very kind to them. The beds are comfy, but the rooms were...

We had a conference at the Grove Park Inn and stayed at the Aberdeen Inn. Tom greeted us upon arrival and gave us the lay of the land. Our rooms were quaint, spacious and decorated nicely. Tom, the innkeeper, prepared us a wonderful gluten free breakfast that was the best ever! I will be back!

Let me start with saying Tom is a very nice man, even though his humor can be taken as odd and sarcastic. I very much hate giving any business a bad review, but this Inn truly has great potential and my hope is this will be taken as constructive criticism and they will make some easy, much needed changes. First...

Thank you to this customer and guest for the candid review. I must admit she is right in too many areas. Yes spiders and webs are here and this is a daily continuing problem that obviously needs more attention than cleaning personnel have given. That will change immediately or new people will have to be found. I can say that...

Asheville was our second stop on our vacation. Tom was pleasant and helpful the second we met him and continued to be so for the remainder of our trip. He is an outstanding chef who enjoys who immensely enjoys his craft. Wine and beer are offered throughout our stay as well as engaging breakfast conversation and suggestions for our day....

We found a great couple who enjoy what they do and are good at it. Tom and Michelle's breakfast was 5 star. I couldn't get enough of the homemade sausage and my husband could have ate a whole peach tart. Our room was just what we were looking for and the location was good. They gave us recommendations and were...

One of the best values in Asheville. Nice cozy older home. Very clean and comfortable. Don't be alarmed by its location. The two breakfasts we had were absolutely delightful. Tom, the chef and owner, knows how to please your palate. It takes alot for me to say a meal was excellent. The meals were EXCELLENT!

We had a very nice and relaxing stay with Tom at the Aberdeen Inn. We were able to stay In the cottage which is a two room suite that is separate from the main house. The suite was perfect for us and even included a small refrigerator and microwave. The fridge came in handy as Tom provides all his guests...

1 star: proximity to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville is awesome! 1 star: potential to be something wonderful I took a star away because of overall cleanliness and appearance. The grounds need help! There's a grill area that could be another great sitting area but it's covered with "stuff." Yes, it's an older house, but it definitely shows the wear...

We thank the lady for her candid review. However we do have some comments in reply. We apologize for the shower and will take the necessary steps with staff for the correction and not happening in the future. That is our error and wish something had been said during their stay. Fresh towels are put out when requested and the...

This place is true to its pictures - very beautiful and in a convenient location; HOWEVER, since stepping foot there (and even when calling to reserve), we had an unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience. You must call to make a reservation, as there is no online reservation service available. With that being said, I called to make a reservation and the...

We are truly sorry that this guest was so "put off" by 1. my wife's trouble with the Amex number - she has taken very few since we are new to accepting Amex; 2. Tom's casual but necessay request for information required by codes should proof be needed that they were a guest at the Aberdeen Inn; 3. we do...

“I would suggest a room at the end of the hall. 2 of the rooms are at the top of the stairs, and the stairs are quite creaky, so you can hear every time someone goes up or down. Also, any noise from downstairs travels up to the top of the second floor, so you can hear most of the conversations in the foyer/sitting area.”
