The Bed of Roses is an excellent bed and breakfast choice in Ashville. Emily and Bill are very friendly and accommodating. The front porch is a favorite spot in the early morning for coffee and at night for a glass of wine. The home is beautiful inside and out surrounded by pretty gardens. The candlelight breakfast in the morning was...

Bill and Emily were wonderful hosts for our short stay, exploring Asheville for the first time. We considered an Airbnb property, but decided on A Bed of Roses, and are glad we did. Others have commented on the wonderful, generous breakfasts; I can only second those comments! Close enough to downtown for easy access, cozy, nicely appointed rooms. Very friendly...

Thank you for sharing. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and SO glad you chose A Bed of Roses over an Airbnb! We do try hard to provide that "Quintessential Southern Comfort" and it's so nice to have our guests experience that. We hope you come back soon.

Emily and Bill were great hosts!! We used the whole house with a group of friends for a wedding event in Asheville. The place is beautifully decorated and very clean!!! It just has a nice lovely home feel. The breakfasts in the morning were just simply delicious and amazing!!! You can tell that Emily and Bill puts their hearts into...

Just about everything here was perfection. The 2-course breakfast was incredible (served promptly at 9am) , the hosts were superb, location was walkable to downtown (15 mins, partly uphill). We loved relaxing on the front porch. They also left water, lemonade and a keurig accessible at any time. Emily put out homemade cookies that were delicious. I would highly recommend...

We're glad you enjoyed your stay, but we're so sorry you didn't sleep well! The Oliver Davis is our smallest, least expensive room and it really can't accommodate anything larger than a full-size double bed. We try to make a point of making sure our guests know that before booking that room, as well as about that narrow staircase! The...

We spent 2 nights at A Bed of Roses Bed & Breakfast and had an excellent experience. Emily and Bill made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were exceptional and our hosts provided just the right amount of attention. We loved our room, which included a hot tub. The location is well within walking distance of...

Emily and Bill offer a beautiful comfortable home away from home in the Montfort neighborhood just minutes away from central Asheville. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the house beautiful from top to bottom, the breakfast elegant. I came for the night and stayed for three.

This was our first experience staying at a B&B and we didn't know what to expect. Bill and Emily were wonderful hosts, very accommodating to any of our needs. Their home is beautiful, comfortable, and close to downtown. The breakfasts were outstanding!!! The food was unlike anything we had ever eaten and probably never would have. We highly recommend Bed...

First, the breakfasts were fan-tastic! Second, it's a very clean and comfortable inn. Third, Bill & Emily were wonderful hosts who would chat with you if you wanted or would leave you alone if you preferred that. Fourth, we had the cute little room at the top of the stairs, but it was still very comfortable. Fifth, the location is...

Emily and Bill have perfected your B&B experience in this lovely victorian home. Beautiful antiques, cozy linens, an inviting porch and gardens, afternoon tea and cookies, not to mention killer gourmet breakfasts show you the attention to detail here. Located in a neighborhood of historic homes and an easy walk to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

My mother and I celebrated her 77th birthday at this lovely B&B and couldn't have asked for more. The Turret suite is so roomy that it was surprising. The website's pictures don't capture the amount of space in the suite. Everything was perfect. It far exceeded our expectations. The welcoming smiles at check-in, the breakfast each morning and the attention...
