Stayed 1 night and visited the Biltmore. Tried to do laundry. The machines were rusty leaking and overflowing. Tried to take a shower. Shower was broken. It was 24 degrees last night. No heat in the bathroom. No hot water. Bathrooms were not clean or updated. Cats were running around everywhere and climbing on our vehicle. Would never recommend this... More

The staff were very responsive and accommodating. We called to see if they had a pull through site in the early afternoon and they called back within an hour. It was a busy time of the year (leaf season) and we were grateful to get a site. Although we had a full hookup, we were right across from the bathrooms... More

We stayed for several days in a camper so we used the facilities. At the time the park was full. Staff was friendly. Our Good Sam's rating led us to believe that this park had superior facilities. The first night we heard what sounded like drums at 1:00am coming from an on site apartment. Two out of the three dryers... More

I cannot believe that they squeezed five campsites (11A, B, C, D, E) into the edge of the entry driveway. One table among the five sites. We were lucky the site jammed in behind our camper was empty at the time we needed to back up to reach the sewer connection when we left. The only good thing was proximity... More

Management response:

We do have a small number of tight sites that we do not rent normally. We only open up these sites for rental when people do not have a reservation, & are desperate for a place to park. Due to our booked leaf month, & trying to help everyone fleeing the storms & hurricane, we did open up any site... More

This campground is conveniently located to visit Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. It has an odd arrangement of sites but it works. They have a pool but we didn’t use it, the free WiFi worked well but was intermittently out of service. The driveways are asphalt and site pads are concrete. We were in a pull through that was somewhat... More

We stayed at this very established RV park in Asheville because it was centrally located to all of Asheville. The park is well maintained, but a little outdated for our preference. We did not use any of the facilities. We did use the office and found the employees to be every friendly and helpful. The price was a very good... More

Nothing good to say about this campground except for location close to Biltmore...Dry, cracked , peeling fountain...3 old metal playground stuff, trash cans not emptied, rude receptionist, no e-mail confirmation, office hours short and close during part of day...avoid and go to a KOA...Good Sam needs to scratch this one out for sure! Never up-dated our reservation despite phone call... More

Convenient location near The Biltmore Estate in a well kept park with nice pool and facilities. Sites are tight especially on the lower level and pull throughs are on the road, but we saw some big rigs. Our 34 foot 5th wheel fit in our level site. They sell two day passes for The Biltmore, which was very helpful. Would... More

Tried for 24 hours to make a reservation but were unable to reach anyone except the answering machine. Not return phone call so finally about 17 miles from making a direction change dialed them again and reached someone. Made our reservation. Assigned a back-in site for a 42foot fifth wheel. Couldn't back in far enough for the power cable to... More

To be fair I'm not giving this two hoots but three, this is why: The pull through lots are tight but do able The location for the pull throws is between a busy road and I-40 so, it is not a quite tranquil location, traffic noise all night long. Internet yes, High Speed internet no way. When stating high speed... More
