Arrived in the afternoon prior to check in so we went to the rooftop bar. The front desk called us as soon as our room was ready which allowed us to settle in early. While all staff members were friendly and professional, Ahmed showed us to our room and proved to be an incredible resource for us throughout the weekend regarding places to go for things we needed as well as transportation. He is an excellent asset to this new hotel!
The finishes in our room were fresh and fun including floor to ceiling windows and beautiful bathroom tiling and countertops.
Housekeeping was quick to respond to requests, and the basket of breakfast treats we found at our door each morning was a fabulous way to start our day. We paired them with coffee from the cafe in the lobby and sat on the front patio each morning as we prepared for our day.
The location is close to so many great restaurants, historic areas, breweries and the River Arts district. Having access to the hotel’s Jeep, which transports within two miles, was an unexpected perk!
All around great service and atmosphere; it’s an excellent addition to Asheville!

this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in… They give attention to detail in every way. Kindness of front desk, especially Jake… Room is beautiful, comfortable, quiet, even dimmer switches to make the lighting beautiful-a basket left in the morning with light breakfast-incredibly thoughtful!… at check-out i was given chocolate and a keychain❤️… See photos

Thank you so much for the kind review. So pleased to hear you had such a positive interaction with all of our staff. The attention to detail to the property would be a null factor without an immaculate staff to accentuate its lovely features. We try our best to create a unique experience for each and every guest. We are delighted you had a comfortable visit with us. Please feel free to contact us before your next visit to Asheville!

I've stayed in four or five hotels in Asheville and this was the best location of any. We have watched this old bank building sit empty for years and were excited to see the renovations completed.

Not only is the hotel a prime location, central to everything and in the safer part of Asheville, the rooms have a great view overlooking the park. The room is nice and well appointed, with hard surface floors and area rugs, an adorable little coffee machine with three strength settings and really good local coffee. The lighting is well thought out and even includes motion sensor bathroom lights and nightlight in the toilet room. The bathroom has a good size shower and luxe towels. There is a nice makeup desk and the furnishings are very attractive.

We didn't try the dining room but the rooftop bar gives a fantastic view over Asheville.

HOWEVER we ran into some issues.

The walls are quite thin for a hotel in this price range - we could hear our neighbors talking and coughing.

The service is a little iffy. The parking valet told us we would receive a text and could text that number to pick up the car; we never received the text. We were told we could have a late checkout (noon) but we were locked out of the room at the normal checkout time (11). The rooftop bar made a good martini, but my G&T had tonic served from a pump. I'm not even sure it WAS tonic, it could have been club soda as it had no real flavor.

There is a breakfast box that comes at 8, with a hot egg and sausage sandwich and two pieces of fruit. There's no vegetarian or vegan option.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again because of the location. But for nearly $500/night I will need to adjust my expectations.

Everything was great except for the extra parking fee. When you pay $300 for a room the parking should be complimentary.Desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful. Everything looked new.Eating at thehotel restaurant is much better than going across the street to Tupelo Honey and receiving poor service.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're thrilled to hear that you had a superb stay with us. I'm sorry to hear you weren't happy with the parking options and the prices provided for the valet service. That's the only solution we can provide for our guests considering the limited parking options in downtown Asheville. Despite that, we're very glad to hear you had a fantastic stay. We hope you'll come back and see us again. Please try our brunch menu at The Exchange on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

In love with this place. We are already booking our next stay. The staff is amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms provided everything you could ask for including a clothes steamer, robes, slippers and a morning basket of breakfast nibbles at the door. We were driven to the Marquee by the hotel staff in the hotel jeep which was a great perk. Ahmed gave us fantastic suggestions on how to visit Ashville. He and Ben were both great drivers with lots of great suggestions. The roof top bar was lovely. Between the room , the restaurant and the roof top bar we barely wanted to leave.

We loved this outstanding new hotel in downtown Asheville! We experienced some of the best customer service we've ever had, most especially thanks to the front desk supervisor, William. From the moment I first called to ask if their restaurants would be open when we arrived (which would be late in the evening), William took care of us as though we were the only guests in the hotel. He made our stay so incredibly special!

On our last evening, we were disappointed to get in from dinner and learn that the rooftop observatory (bar/restaurant) had just closed. We went up to our room and got into our pjs and figured we would see it next trip. Next thing we knew, the hotel phone rang - it was William, and he had arranged to reopen the observatory bar just for us! He even had the bartender make us a couple of drinks before ending his shift, which were stored in a fridge until we got upstairs. William spent a good hour with just us at the bar, laughing and chatting. He told us a lot about The Restoration as a hotel company, which we appreciated learning about. It's a small, family owned business that restores (hence, "The Restoration") historic buildings into luxury boutique hotels. They truly buy into their local communities, as was very evident from our time at the Asheville property. Boutique hotels are the best!

At the end of the evening, William showed us the event rental space on the top floor, which is exquisite! If you have ANY need for private rental space in Asheville, I highly recommend that you check it out. We had already booked all our spaces for our December 2023 wedding, and were bummed we didn't know about this place sooner!

This is a gorgeous property in walking distance to so many awesome shops and restaurants. Top of the line linens, toiletries, robes, and many of the in room food and beverage items were complimentary. Our favorite part was the complimentary delivery each morning of a breakfast basket so we could eat breakfast in our pjs in bed! As if all that were not enough, the food in their restaurants/room service is fantastic. Do not miss the trout poboy sandwich - oh my goodness! I enthusiastically recommend The Restoration Asheville and cannot wait to stay there again.

The Restoration is an amazing hotel with so much to offer! I stayed for a weekend with a group of friends for a friends birthday and we enjoyed every aspect from the incredible service to the gorgeous rooms. The complimentary breakfast basket was so cute and delicious. The hotel has 3 wonderful options for dining and drinking on site but is also walkable to everything else downtown. We REALLY enjoyed the Draftsman which has great food, fun retro games and great service (especially Mike from New York who had a great personality). I also loved that the ice coolers are filled with bags of ice and the refrigerators are stocked with complimentary drinks. They have thought of every detail! I will definitely be back!

Our stay at The Restoration in Asheville was absolutely phenomenal. While the hotel itself has only been open for a few weeks since their remodel, the staff and amenities ran smoothly. At check-in my wife was given a beautiful rose and we sipped a bubbly glass of champagne. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown which was perfect for accessing local restaurants but also took advantage of the complimentary Jeep shuttle which brought us to the Arts District/breweries (< 2mil radius). Staff were incredibly attentive and we felt welcomed by the valet every time we returned from an adventure around town. Grab a drink on the rooftop or coffee at the local shop (Rise) in the lobby. Morning breakfast goodies delivered each day and a fridge stocked with pop, water and juice made for extra touches we weren’t expecting. Fitness facility had state of the art equipment. The colors and details of the room and decor of the hotel will make you feel relaxed and at home.

We stayed here recently on our first trip to Asheville. The hotel is perfect: great rooftop, the decor is all very trendy and en vogue, spacious rooms, and the small touches like fresh pastries as a breakfast basket to your room in the AM, make this place memorable. Staff are friendly, and they have an excellent coffee shop in the lobby. The rooms are both beautiful and spotless with well-appointed furnishings and a great attention to decorative detail.

The central location is key, too. You can walk all over town from here.

This hotel is awesome!! From the friendly front desk to the roof top restaurant everything was perfect. The rooms are large, the bathroom was large and had everything you would want. Great water pressure in the huge walk in shower. The refrigerator was stocked with waters, juice, soda and snacks which were all included in the price. If you wanted extra snacks there was a basket of snacks which had an extra cost but not outrageous prices like other hotels. In the morning they deliver a picnic basket of yogurt’s, pastries and jams and leave it outside your door. Would 100% recommend staying here !!
