My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites Biltmore Area to celebrate her birthday. The moment we first walked through the doors of this hotel, we knew we were in for a very special getaway. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing in its newness and innovative amenities.

We were welcomed by the superlative check-in staff of Elizabeth, Morgan, and Chuck who went out of their way to welcome us as valued Hilton Honors members. They fulfilled all our room preference requests, ensuring us a happy, memorable stay.

The suite we were assigned was spectacular! Although there were too many creative amenities to mention, our favorite was the design of the bathroom and closet area. The toilet and shower were separated from the vanity and sink by a door, and the closet was separated from the vanity by a mirrored sliding door. The entire bath area was separated from the living area by a uniquely designed sliding barn door. We have already made plans to install a similar door in our new home.

The breakfast and the area in which it was served enhanced the hotel’s focus on its guests. When Darrell found out it was my wife’s birthday, he sang Happy Birthday (no judgement on his singing). Sylvia then treated my wife to an oven-heated strawberry danish covered in whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and almond slivers. Darrell then toured us around the breakfast area, impressing us with the pressed juice and smoothie station. Everything was delicious, and the quality and offerings were by far the best we have experienced. Darrell and Sylvia took pride in the breakfast area and in making each guest feel special.

The design and offered amenities of this hotel are first-class, but the true gem is the staff. Each staff member we had the pleasure of meeting was exuberant in their love of their job and in serving their guests. WE SHALL RETURN!

We were impressed with the staff's friendliness, proper use of masks and strict policies of physical distancing in the elevator, pool and dining area. Even the lobby, room & elevator "smelled clean" of disinfectants, and we liked how breakfast and coffee were served. The arrangement of the outdoor furniture felt inviting and cozy, which were enhanced by the fireplace, hot tub and pool. Continued great service in spite of a pandemic!

We checked in about 6pm and the person at check in couldn’t be any more friendlier and accommodating. The room was pretty clean upon arrival, almost looked a little dusty like no one had stayed in it in awhile which is good in a way. The suite layout is one big room but enough room for a family of 4 with a wet bar, microwave and fridge. My 2 girls loved the pool area and we didn’t mind sitting and watching them as it was actually airy with windows all around and didn’t have that overpowering chlorine smell. The beds were comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast in the morning was plentiful with the nicest gentlemen serving us. The lobby was super clean and offered coffee and hot chocolate at all times. For $100 in the off season, you really can’t beat it. We won’t hesitate to stay again!

We booked a few rooms at this location for a few days as we were traveling to the area to have a small wedding in the mountains. The hotel is clean and updated; the rooms are spacious, especially the double bed suites. Everyone we spoke to at the hotel was so helpful and accommodating. After our first night, we asked to change rooms due to some highway and construction noise (full disclosure - try to avoid the odd number side of the hotel if you are a light sleeper, which I obviously am). The hotel was almost completely booked for the weekend, but Robin pulled some strings and was able to make it happen for us. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area!

This hotel is obviously new or close to it and it shows. It’s immaculate and the rooms are a really nice size. The bathroom is HUGE with a nice step-in shower. The towels are nice & soft and we had plenty of them. Nice selection of channels on the TV . I liked the “no contact” room key - you simply use your phone to unlock your room. They did a nice job with the breakfast - you requested what you wanted from a menu and it was placed into a carry out box. Nice. I highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

We arrived on Monday afternoon after driving all night long. Our room was not ready and they asked if we could go and get some lunch. We really didn't wanna get back in the car after 12 hours so we asked if we could wait in the lobby. After about an hour we got to our room and it was very nice and clean. We had our service animal with us as well. No issues there.

As for the breakfast area, there were not enough tables plus guests like it when you have hot food. None to be found here and the pre-packaged breakfast was mediocre at best. Even if it costs you 2.5 times more operationally, your guests love this and they will return again and again. The coffee was empty every time I went to get some so I quit going. Also, pleas put flavored creamer for your guests. We had trouble with the digital keys working as well.

We wanted to stay and extra day and the lady at the desk had told us the night before checkout the room was available so we were planning to stay. The morning of checkout the desk called and said they could move us to a Queen standard room which was too small or a handicap room but we could not keep our current room because they had ball teams coming in. It was also 10:15 when they told us this and we were to be out by 11. No way! I asked for extra time and we got it however, the staff needs additional training on communication with guests because they were snobbish! This is my hometown and I had not been home in two years and I felt like I was definitely somewhere else besides Asheville. Did not have the hometown touch I was looking for. Yes, The hotel was clean as a pen, very nicely decorated but that only goes so far when you have hateful staff.

Also they told me over the phone that you pay on the last day of your stay however, ours was taken on the first day. I probably will find another place when I come home again. I really did love the hotel but giving a less than favorable review because of their attitude. Hilton says you have 100% satisfaction. We didn't so I hope they make it up to us somehow. Really was disappointed!

Took a trip to Asheville with my girlfriends. WOW! What a beautiful hotel. It is a new, really pretty hotel. I did not know Hampton Inns had bars. We enjoyed wine before dinner, I believe the bartender was Chris, he was very nice and friendly. Our rooms had been cleaned perfectly. With a group of ladies who are pretty picky it was great to see all the hotel did to make sure they were doing their part to keep things as good as possible during the pandemic. Breakfast was really busy but they were doing the best they could to keep up. A couple of guests argued about wearing a mask. I felt bad for the team members who were just trying to do their job. I would recommend this hotel 100 percent. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. It is a great place with a great staff! Kudos for all the great service and hard work by the employees.

The sink in our unit was holding water and maintenance came up right away and fixed it.
The front desk person was excellent… Danielle. She was very helpful and helped out with a problem we were having with another reservation date. She is definitely an asset to your company! She was very pleasant, calm and knew how to solve our problem!

The hotel was immaculate. Whenever we cami in or out of the hotel someone was always cleaning or wiping down an area. The fitness area was also clean and had disinfectant available to wipe down the machine prior and after use. The breakfast bar had the typical Hampton fare plus more. They had actually oatmeal, breakfast bar. The breakfast was always available stocking the food items and wiping down the tables. The staff always greeted you when hey passed you. It was a very well run hotel and it is shown by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Robin manages the hotel well.

Both hot and cold items were available although with less options compared to pre-pandemic times, and the Styrofoam containers were picked up at the breakfast area. The front desk staff had the menu for the day but since several months have passed since our stay, procedures may have changed so be sure to inquire upon checking in.
