We stayed at the Hotel Redland for 3 nights, as part of a week long outdoors oriented vacation to the Everglades, the Keys, National Cypress Preserve, and other preserves/refuges in southern Florida. The area surrounding the Everglades and other preserves it not exactly a hot spot for luxury lodging. If I can't get historic/luxury, I go for historic, which brings...

Front desk team member Tita knew I was there just for the night, and it'd be an early morning start to the following day. She also noticed how frazzled I was from the long drive in heavy traffic I'd just undertaken. So even before showing me to my room -- which she'd assigned to me based on it being a...

Sweet heritage, boutique hotel that is an ideal base for exploring south Florida and the Everglades. We ended up staying for 4 nights and the food in the onsite Spanish/Cuban restaurant (Whistle Stop) was fantastic. Try the ceviche and the flan! Our hostess for most of the stay was the cheerful, Tita, who always made us feel welcome. All of...

This is an old hotel. To some, this may be quaint and historic, but to us is was worn down and in much need of thorough, total renovation. It is located literally on the other side of the tracks to the city center. There is parking in the back of the hotel. All rooms are located on the second floor...

Thank you for taking the time to make this comment, and by the way a tour of the hotel, 10 bulbs that are in that room only lack the bathroom, those lamps have a cigarette lighter next, just turn it over. We will measure with the dust behind the bed. And thank you very much.

Stayed in king bed with balcony room Friday night; came to visit the Everglades National Park. Good clean comfortable quiet accommodations; kinda expensive. Nice toiletries (like white tea and honey shampoo by ecobotanics), nice shower and bathroom overall (has an exhaust fan un like the Floridian; nicer bathroom than Floridian that I stayed in the night prior. Nice touch that...

Hotel Redland is a family run small hotel. It has many unique homey touches like photos of old Homestead or bicycle sculptures on the wall because the founder rode a bicycle to Homestead from Miami. My husband and I stayed one night. It was a perfect place to stay for a visit to the Everglades. We came back to the...

Oldest hotel in Homestead FL. We were greeted with a surprise rose at check in only to find the remaining dozen, a bottle of wine and chocolate. Wonderful greetings for our 36th anniversary. More photos to come as we explore over the weekend.

My buddy visited my home in Florida and we decided to ride our Trikes to The Keys. We learned of this hotel by searching online and made a reservation. We stayed for two days and enjoyed the hotel very much. The place was extremely clean and the bed linen and towels were great. The staff is a joy to behold....

This little boutique hotel is so budget friendly with breakfast and parking included! Our queen room with private bath was so pretty and comfortable. The staff works so hard to please, although sometimes they don't understand our American English idioms since they are from Cuba. Wifi worked most of the time. The small restaurant has delicious food, which is so...

Marsha insists that I rate this hotel with 5 stars, she absolutely loved staying here. Other reviewers have told you that it is a 2 story no-elevator, no-pets building with 12 rooms. There's nothing spectacular about the hotel or the furnishings unless you find treasure being in a 1904 south Florida building filled with photos, antiques and memorabilia. Our check...
