Although all front desk staff were friendly and attentive, our room was falling apart. The shower rod was literally falling off the wall so you did not have a shower curtain while showering. The floor had cigarette burns all over it. Couch was so dirty i did not want to sit on it. A friend recommended the hotel and it had good reviews… ?? I guess you can’t win them all. I would not recommend this Hampton.
One night stay to pick up my stepsons in Homestead. My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel, and it was the best choice. The hotel was located in a very nice neighborhood. The staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and the complimentary hot breakfast was delicious, you also were given options to have cold and hot items. The rooms comes with both microwave and mini refrigerator, they can be updated but no complaints. Outback and Wendy's restaurants are located steps from the hotel and other shopping centers. The price was reasonable and we will stay again. Thank you
Spent 2 nights here in May of 2022. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is big, there is a large outdoor pool as well as big , covered area which was nice as the Florida sun in May felt pretty intense. Note though that this outdoor enclosed area allows smoking although I only saw 1 person smoking. Hotel is is about 30 minutes from the east entrance to Everglades national park and about the same time to reach Key Largo. Two very different experiences and worth the time to explore both. There is an Outback steakhouse next to the hotel with a big bar and fun atmosphere.
Nice hotel, friendly staff and the pool is awesome. The room was perfect and there was a nice assortment of pillows to choose from. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Many attractions and restaurants nearby.
I was initially annoyed that the hotel staff ignored my high floor preference and put me on the 2nd floor, but then realized only one elevator was working, so ended up being glad we were only a floor up. We ended up walking both up and down several times when the elevator was taking too long. The AC in the room did not keep the room cool enough, creating a bit of a musty smell, and making it just a bit too hot for us to get a good night's sleep. Overall, we were disappointed with the room. The pool was very nice, though. It was big and had a small waterfall feature. Breakfast was on par with other Hampton Inns we have visited. I guess it was just our bad luck that the hot options were exactly the same as the first two hotels we visited this trip, since the staff told us they do actually rotate the hot options.…
Rooms smell musty, pool is great Breakfast was very helpful and good quality There is ample parking in the hotel. The location of the hotel is great close to everglades national park. The front desk staff is welcoming and friendly
It is a good hotel. Good facilities, excellent location. I have stayed several times and have always had a good experience. Good parking area. The hotel always looks brand new and they serve a good breakfast. There are great places to eat.
We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and know one can get a range of quality. This one falls well in the lower section. There is a Garden Inn very nearby that is markedly better. The Hampton was very worn and not as clean as one would like to see in common areas. We had to use the laundry in the Marriott next door since Hamptons was not working. Marriott public space was tons more impressive
Registration staff were efficient, the room was comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised to find a full breakfast since most hotels have been serving grab and go bags. We were there 2 nights and opted for no housekeeping services.
Stood here for a wedding on a discounted group rate. Hotel was dated but clean. Bed was comfortable enough for a 1-night stay. Woman at the front desk was less than thrilled to check us in. I didn't get the warm welcome I'd expect from a hotel. There was no explanation of hotel amenities or even breakfast. On the day of check out, I was literally walking out my hotel room door at 11:01 AM and got a call from this same woman at the front desk asking if I was extending my stay because check out was a minute ago. Holy cow, cut me some slack. She wasn't thrilled to greet me but sure was proactive about getting me out. She didn't even ask me how my stay was. Seems like a basic expectation from the front desk when staying at a hotel.
