Finding a reasonably priced accommodation in Moab in early October is extremely difficult ... very hard to find anything under $200 a night Nothing fancy in furniture, TV, and lighting but served the purpose especially being clean. A block or so off the main street it was easy to get to town ... would have been better if the city had more street lighting on the side streets. No elevators so make sure that you can get your luggage up the steps to the second floor. I would give it a BEST VALUE rating
Lovely local, recently and lovingly restored, motel. Super friendly and helpful staff ( thank you Mandy ad Leora) with ideas on where to hike. Extra large room with full size fridge, micro wave, dishes, coffee maker, hotpot. Good WiFi. We ended up working for a few hours in the morning. Able to leave our skies in secured area while we were hiking. Just an all round lovely stay. We will be back
From the outside, the Rustic Inn appears to be small and simple but it has a lot to offer. The customer service was excellent. I was running late to check in and the owner called to ask and confirm my stay. The rooms are cute and cozy. Good amenities! The rooms have a full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, bowls, mugs, utensils, etc. The only downside would be that there is no breakfast, however coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is provided! Since there is a microwave and bowls it’s convenient to make oatmeal. Perfect for a stay when traveling to Arches and Canyonlands. Definitely will be back!
We needed a place we could take our little dog who was traveling with us. The room was super clean and spacious. The staff was very pleasant. We were there two nights. It was quiet and the property was well taken care of. I would stay here again.
We stayed here for 1 night in September, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who gave us a very warm welcome and information on the local area. We were able to park right outside our room and initially had some problems opening the room with the old-fashioned key – but with some help from the receptionist we got in. It would be much better to switch to a card-based system though! The room was nice, quite spacious but certainly very rustic rooms (as the name suggests), a wood-cabin style theme. The room was clean, bright, and quiet. The hotel is situated a short walk from Main Street which has a tonne of restaurants, bars and shops. Although the room was spacious, the bathroom was incredibly small – but did include a nice powerful and hot shower. The bed was very comfortable, but the air conditioning system was pretty noisy – but did block out the traffic noise from the street (as we were street facing). Inside the room was a Fridge Freezer and Microwave with a good number of toiletries. Tea and Coffee were both available in reception, along with an Ice Machine – although this closed at 10pm meaning after this time you could not get any further ice. No breakfast was served at this hotel (a grab and go option may be a nice idea like some other hotels we have stayed in that don’t offer a sit down breakfast). Overall, we enjoyed our stay – the hotel is ideally located – it does have a pool, but due to the weather we weren’t able to check this out as were told it was quite cold! We would return, but we would also check out other options around the area for something a bit more modern if we return in the future.…
Large clean room. Off the highway so it’s quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again. Air conditioning works well. Adequate parking. Nice looking pool (we didn’t use it). Could use two more lamps by the beds, but it’s not a major concern for most people.
We stayed here for two nights while visiting Arches and Canyonlands national parks. It is a quiet motel with good parking. The room was clean and quiet, with good facilities including fast Wi-Fi and a fridge. The staff were welcoming and always helpful. I’d certainly stay here again if we return to the area.
The Moab Rustic Inn is a great spot to stay in Moab: Great location right off the main street, ample parking, a laundry, and so well run! Everything was spotlessly clean and taken care of, from the huge, cascading baskets of petunias hanging from the balcony to the linens, the service, and the service. In this time of waning customer service and lack of attention to detail, the Rustic Inn is a welcome surprise and so well run and managed!
We stayed here twice in July 2022 while we were coming and going from our destination. We visited Arches for one day and was happy how conveniently located this hotel is. The property is older but well kept. It is clean and the housekeeping staff seem to do a great job keeping this place as clean as it can be. Rooms are spacious. They have a few rooms with tile floor. We stayed in a tile floored room on one stay and prefer that to the carpeted room. Staff are friendly and happy to share recommendations. Feels very homey.
This motel provides good value for money. iIt is not luxurious, but it provides all the needed basic amenities (including on-site laundromat) and friendly service in a very central location (within walking distance to downtown) easy drive to Arches......................
