On one hand it's a great place. Great location on Main st. Big clean room, big dining room, a playroom and box games, and fun pool for kids. On the other hand the receptionist wasn't welcoming, the toilet wasn't brushed for ages and the laundry room was filthy (achines and all). For the 320 dollars (include tax) a night I would expect more attention to such details.
Stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Old fashioned motel that has been remodeled. Clean and efficient. Nothing luxurious but that’s what we were looking for. All the staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. Our whole family loved the pool. Perfect location. Within walking distance to many restaurants and downtown!
We were yelled at like children when we asked the general manager if they had something that could take off the paint from the trash gate that swung into our rental car. I don’t even understand why the GM Christy even thought it was an event to get upset about! She kept yelling at us to file a claim because that’s what she pays insurance for. After trying to slam doors in our faces, she then threatens to fire another employee for talking to us and then told us to leave! All of this in front of a room full of guests having breakfast!! We are reasonable people and she could’ve talked to us about what she could or couldn’t do instead of being immediately on the defense and yelling at us. This is by far the #1 worst customer service experience I have ever had.
If you're looking for luxury, there are plenty of other places around. But if you want a solid, clean, comfortable motel in the business district of Moab, this is your place. They know what they are and they do it well. It's on a busy road but after an active day outside I fell asleep in minutes and didn't notice a sound. Perfect spot for families especially.
Expedition Lodge was a great place to stay for a first trip. Cute decor, pet friendly and the pool was a hit and was heated, great for cold days. Friendly staff; we will visit again in the future. :) .
This place is great! Instead of tearing down an old motel they revamped it! Now it’s a retro lodge, plenty of parking, great location, comfortable beds, games, breakfast, heated pool, dog friendly, good sized fridge and UM.. affordable! I could honestly go on.. I find it charming and refreshing! You can’t even find a motel 6 for $80 so relax people and enjoy the nostalgia of an Avacado green toilet!! I will definitely be back again!! I wish I could have used all the amenities they offer!
Friendly staff, awesome pool, fun common space area for breakfast and games, cute appliances in the room, comfy beds, right in the middle of everything! All around an amazing stay! I will definitely be coming back!
Awesome room with microwave and fridge, great breakfast, clean and fun facilities, black out curtains and wonderful staff! We loved being able to walk to stores and restaurants! Would highly recommend!
I found this place off AirBnb and got it for a sweet deal! Only a 5-10 min drive to Arches National Park. Breakfast was provided in the morning. Check-in/out was super easy as well. I traveled solo, but still got 2 queen beds, and private bath with a tub!
From the outside, this hotel looks fun! It has a heated pool (with a large waterslide) that was almost always occupied. This place is so cute! The furnishings and appliances and overall decor is just too cute to be missed! Everything worked, everything was clean, everything was comfortable. Sure, it’s right next to the highway and there’s a little bit of noise, but nothing that couldn’t be over come by just running the fan on the AC. This place is too cute. The front desk was so helpful anytime we need absolutely anything. The breakfast bar had quite a variety of items to choose from. It was just fantastic! Walking distance to everything. Absolutely loved it! Almost hoping that it doesn’t become so popular that when we go back next year we can’t get a room!
