Absolutely beautiful and amazingly comfortable hotel. Relocating across country with my two pups I chose Element Moab as a pit stop. The property is amazingly clean and quiet, and the rooms offer an upscale and spa feeling. My king room had tons of space and the furnishings and bed were perfect. Highly recommended!
We arrived with a leaking tire, eventually turning into a flat two hours later, and front desk staff was extremely helpful in order for us to identify a local tire shop that could help us on short notice to avoid our road-trip coming to a halt. We really appreciated the kindness and friendly, but then again it’s America, so since when have people not been kind and friendly. Rooms are very well kept and the entire area is clean and modern. Only small note is the lack of ice vending machine (capacity) for coolers given that I assume most customers come here to spend their time in the scorching heat of arches national park.
This was a great hotel. I am a lifetime Titanium with Marriott with hundreds of stays at multiple brands, but had never stayed at an Element. We booked two rooms here on a family road trip with my wife and six children. Bed were very comfortable. Rooms were modern and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Moab and will seek out other Element hotels in the future.
Travelling to Moab for the 2022 Moab Folk Festival, I booked a room at the Element Moab which I did through the festival website. When I arrived at the Element to check in, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled. That's right, cancelled and that actually no room was available. They said an email was sent to inform me. Apparently, they had overbooked the hotel. I was astounded. Never heard of such a thing. Unbelievable. There I stood, bag in hand expecting to check in and was screwed. When I arrived home, I found the said email in my junk folder dated the afternoon before at 3:24 PM. Moab Element, you've certainly lost me as a friend. I will from this point forward tell everyone I know about you.
We were really disappointed with this hotel. Have had great stays in various types of Marriott over the years so we thought that we would try their new Element brand. Big mistake as it spoiled our time in Moab. Don't stay here if you want to sleep - they play music in all public areas outside & inside all day and all night ! Unfortunately there was a speaker right outside our window near the pool. We asked for the music, or at least the one speaker, to be turned off at night but they said that this was not possible. We had sleepless nights. They wouldn't even move us to a different room. Like the previous reviewer, we were told that housekeeping would only happen every 3rd day. It didn't even happen on day 3. We were there for 4 nights. In these post-covid days hotels should be doing more cleaning, not less. This was probably why we found hairs, crumbs and fluff in our room. And to cap it all the reception staff were rude and unhelpful. There were a couple of plus points - a great pool area, gluten free muffins at breakfast and a nice little cocktail bar. We will not be staying here on our next trip to Moab.…
Hotel assumes the nice style and decor masks the terrible service... It does not. Spent 4 nights here, and will never stay at an Element again. When checking in, I was informed housekeeping is only available every third day. Even with staffing in today's job market, should be an option of every other day, but I digress. I signed up for housekeeping on the third day. Came back to the room at 6pm the day the room was supposed to be cleaned, but nothing was done. Went to the front desk and spoke with Levi about the situation. He told me that there was an error and it didn't get passed on to housekeeping, and that he would get towels and clean the room while I headed out for dinner since there were no housekeepers available. Came back at 8:15, and nothing had been done to the room. Went back to front desk, spoke to Levi again, and he was surprised nothing was done. Not even an apology. Earlier in my stay, I was heading out for the day and asked for some additional towels to be sent to my room (knowing the room wouldn't be cleaned on day 2). Despite it being clear I was on my way out, front desk employee gave me towels... So had to go back to my room and drop them off, since evidently it's beyond the duties of the staff to do this. Total joke, especially for the rates being charged. You're in the hospitality business, so perhaps staff should be hospitable. Don't be fooled by this place - stay somewhere else in Moab. …
This place is great. They call it a resort, and definitely the outside area could qualify as that. The pool and hot tubs are beautiful and there's an outdoor fire pit. The rooms seem to be brand new and spacious, with vinyl flooring so it felt clean (which I appreciated, because this hotel does accommodate pets). The location was perfect for access to Arches. I have two issues that made me mark it down a star...1) our first night (after a 7-hour drive, mind you) we walked in to a loud party in the lobby. I realize this is not the norm, but the banging drums right under us was not appreciated when all I wanted to do was sleep. Thankfully they ended when they said they would. And 2) the breakfast was not very GF/DF friendly. There was no protein offered, it was mostly pre-packaged carbs or fruit and the hot bar only had one option which was usually some gluten carb. Our last day they did offer eggs. They were the only hotel, though, that offered DF milks which I really appreciated. Overall, I recommend.…
I am on a road trip with a group of customers. I brought this hotel nine rooms for two nights. I've had bad luck on our journey with hotels giving me rooms right at the elevator or next to the ice machine. When I arrived at the Element I found that I had the room directly over the entrance to the hotel and above the arrival/check-in driveway. As a light sleeper, I politely asked the front desk if I could have another room in a quieter part of the hotel. They refused. Even when I mentioned that I brought them business they would not do anything to help me. This is not peak season so it is doubtful the hotel is anywhere near capacity. The hotel room itself is pleasant and the bed comfortable. There is no room safe...which is the first thing I look for when I check in to a hotel. I don't like posting negative reviews but customer service is very important in the hotel business...especially when I bring them my customers so I felt compelled to point out that it was lacking in this particular stay. …
Nice free breakfast with friendly staff & oversized rooms. Great having an available washer & dryer on our floor. Pool area is well kept and rooms were clean. We had a suite which slept 4 easily. Great shampoo & conditioner in bathroom. Easy check in and check out. Close to Moab and National Parks. Good location !
This is a very nice, well maintained hotel property. Our room was large with ample surface space for luggage and laptops, etc. Desk and service staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is included with a freshly cooked to order item each morning. I noted staff touching up paint in the hallways — impressive attention to detail. Full bar with light apps at night. Lovely pool area with hot tub. Not inexpensive but worth the price.
