Lovely people in reception. Room large, clean, had a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker plus lots of pods. Lots of fluffy towels & toiletries. A range of pillows. Good storage. A very pleasant 3 days spent with no complaints at all. Better value than comparable motels in Moab. Just off the main road but we slept well on a comfortable bed. Walking distance from the shops & restaurants.
Large, clean room. The service was excellent, especially the staff at breakfast. Breakfast and coffee were above average for a hotel. The hotel is located conveniently in Moab near good restaurantsand cute shops. All the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable.
filthy; rude unhelpful staff; overpriced at $330 per night; terrible breakfast; very little space in breakfast area; hotel just taking undue advantage of high traffic in area with few other options, trying desperately to make up for all the money they lost in COVID lockdown in past few years; just spend thirty dollars more and stay in comfort at HYATT PLACE or HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS
Very suitable spot to stay if you're visiting Moab. It's pet friendly as well. Breakfast is included but don't expect anything healthy. It's the typical hotel cheap food and it's better to go out for food. The good thing is that's in the city and close to all activities.
Bathroom was not properly cleaned. The sink drain was disgusting. Staff not attentive. No housekeeping which I understand is because of covid but everything else is back to normal why cleaning rooms are not? This hotel have a great location however really plain.
I checked in and showed my picture ID with my full name on it. At about 10.30pm, the guy from reception knocks on my door and wants to know if I actually had a reservation!!! He tells me that he gave me a room intended for another party, who checked in later than me. Of course, it turned out that the reason for this was that there were two reservations by two different parties both with the same last name. However the man at reception didn't check my first name when I checked in and DIDN'T CHECK THAT TWO PARTIES MIGHT HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME BEFORE WAKING UP A GUEST at night. Later that night, HE KNOCKED ON MY DOOR AGAIN TO APOLOGIZE. Unbelievable. IMO, either this hotel doesn't train the staff properly or employs the wrong kind of people.
Everything appeared quite normal and satisfactory here until the morning, when the toilet was sluggish and nearly overflowing. We called to report it to the front desk, and the manager simply went ballistic. Apparently he has had to deal with one too many toilets, and blew up at us for wanting to have a maintenance staff member come, just in case the plunger he brought to us did not do the trick. He brought the plunger but barged in to take care of the problem himself. Instead of resolving it he made it worse, resulting in a major flooding of the entire area, into the hallway and carpeted sleep area. He shouted at me, flashed me his middle finger, repeatedly told me to SHUT UP, complained about dealing with "people like you" and finally just evicted us from the premises. Totally traumatized, we packed up and left after getting our refund and calling to report this unbelievable incident to customer service office. We have written a complete report on this very rude/crude and unprofessional "manager" and have filed a formal complaint to headquarters. We are awaiting their reply and report of how they are handling this situation. In the meantime, a word to the wise: steer clear of this place at all costs!!…
Worst motel experience I have ever had. The clerk, Fernando, was rude, inconsiderate and obnoxious. We were told, when we got there, that there was no made service. Asked to speak to the manager. Conveniently out of town. Want clean linen, take the use linen to front desk and get fresh ones. Very poor lighting in room. No light over desk, can’t see laptop keyboard. Toilet seat 12 inches off floor. Gook Luck. Thermostat on Heat/AC did not work. You can hear people talking in the hallway. Maid tried to clean room before check out time. You can’t believe what their website says. You might get a room or you may not, If you don’t, you are out of luck because the town is always booked up.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The room was starting to show its age with the carpet showing a bit of wear and tear. But the main takeaway is that this hotel was reasonably priced, comfortable and in a good location to several stores and restaurants. Being a bit further south of the city center meant it didn't have the excess noise from heavy traffic. I would highly recommend giving this hotel your attention when planning your stay in Moab.
We had a two queen-bed room. The only positive was that the room was spacious. The carpeting and general appearance was old and worn out. The AC was loud and stopped working for a while. If you are on the ground floor, expect to hear every step, every luggage drop the guests in the room above you are making. But worst of all the front desk folks don't seem to have even been trained in hospitality 101. They just don't care. I would not stay here ever again
