Ledge House has an outstanding view of Maryland Heights and the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, morning sunrise with the mist was memorable. The porch can actually be seen from the top of the Heights, kinda fun. It may be well to remember, however, that most breakfast guests enjoy interacting amongst themselves and not be treated to self...

Monique was a fantastic host. Very welcoming and hospitable. She made an amazing breakfast for us and when we arrived the day before told us about Harper's Ferry and the worthwhile sites to see and things to do. Absolutely stay here on your visit.

To begin I would like to state that the person who usually runs this B&B was on holidays so this is not a review on the normal operations but more of a commentary on how my wife and I we're handled as we ran into several difficulties and on the overall cleanliness of the establishment, something which everyone who has...

I regret the displeasure that this guest expresses. We did receive an email from the guest stating that he would not be paying for his stay, very early in the day, because of the temperature of the room. At that time we offered him the ability to leave our location and stay in a hotel because we were unable to...

My wife and I arrived into Harper's Ferry via Amtrak's Capitol Limited, train 30, from Chicago IL. Overall, we had a good experience but travelers should take note of the following: Arrival By Train: Our train arrived nearly on-time into Harper's Ferry, but often the train will run late. We kept this in mind when planning for this trip. Pros:...

I surprised my wife this weekend with a 50th Birthday get away. She had no idea that I had this planned. Wanted to give a special shout out to Monique. She'd made me a birthday cake and helped me surprise my wife. Everything went as planned. The ledge house b and b is a nice place to stay at with...

This was my first bed and breakfast. The location and scenes that this inn provided was amazing! Cool, comfortable and great breakfast made by chef Monique. It is very close to town and the view from our deck was amazing. Our room was very clean and "roomy". The TV picked up DC stations which was a plus for me. This...

The Ledge House is very nice and clean inside, but looks like a work in progress outside. But that really doesn't matter. What matters is the amazing view of the railroad tunnel and the haunting echo of locomotive horns through the valley as trains pass over the river all night long. My son loves train horns. It's weird, but that's...

This is a beautiful B&B with an incredible view from the spacious deck. We really enjoyed the ground floor suite 1. Only problem is that it's not well air-conditioned but that was quickly resolved with a floor fan. The innkeeper Monique's breakfasts were outstanding and she was always friendly and engaging, also offering good recommendations around town. The Ledge House...

My wife and I loved this beautiful little house. We were the only guests staying at the time but we could also tell that if other guests were staying we would have been able to keep ourselves private if we wanted to or enjoy their company in the main living area. Monique seemed like such a lovely human being that...

The Ledge house is one of those places that I have struggled with a review. Monique was very inviting and was right there to help us hose down the bikes and get us a towel. The room was lovely and the bed was quite comfortable and good internet. The view from the kitchen is just amazing and mesmerizing. The eggs...
