My wife and I stayed at the Bayfield Inn for four days over the Labor Day weekend. The location is wonderful, the management staff accommodating and cordial. The few problems we had were resolved cordially by the management. It is clearly the place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean, nice, and renovated. The location really can't be beat. You're right next to the ferry that goes to Madeline Island. Walking distance to pretty much any and everything. The price per night was a bit outrageous but that seems to be the norm for the area. I recommend this hotel if you...

We stayed in the Turnquist suite, which was a real nice place. So convenient to everything and very clean and comfortable. We arrived just after 3:00 to check in but they told us our suite wasn't ready so they gave us free drink coupons to use in the bar. After an hour, we checked again and our room wasn't ready...

My husband and I stayed in the Pilot House. We had access to two balconies, both with a nice view. The room was a little crowded but the bathroom was large. I would go back and I would also recommend it to others. The employees were all very pleasant also.

My wife & son & I stayed at the Bayfield Inn for two days in August 2015. The room we had at the Inn was ideal for the 3 of us. It was comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted. The kitchen was modern and we were glad to have it to fix some of our meals. The view...

In late July, my wife and I decided to book an August, 3-day getaway to Bayfield (Our first visit). Given our late start, accommodations were almost non-existent city wide, but on the Bayfield Inn web site, room 204 (city-side) was available for 3 nights. Man, did that turn out to be the serendipitous option! First, this Inn is in a...

Wow, is all I can say, wonderful view of Lake Superior, a beautiful flower garden surrounds the house and great staff members. The inn is centrally located in the heart of the town, giving you easy walking access to the lake, restraurants...

Very nice place to visit and stay. Lots to do and a great place to relax. When visiting do the evening boat cruise. Quaint restaurants to choose from. Only a couple hours from Duluth MN. You will loke the islands

In a rating system with 5 being the best, my wife and I must give The Bayfield Inn a 6 or 7. We didn't arrive at the hotel until 1:30 am and we're quickly and courteously checked in and directed to our room. Within an hour we were both comfortably tucked in and sound asleep. In the morning we opened...
