What a great find! We stayed at this hotel lateJuly 2012, the staff were very friendly and helpful and advised us on things to do in San Francisco. The room was very clean and modern. the hotel was only 4 blocks from Union Square and situated in a safe area of the city. We walked everyday to Union Square and...

Spent 3 nights at the Hotel Vertigo wtih my daughter who ran the SF Nike womens marathon. The location is really good for easy access to Union Square without being in the middle of all the mess there. The lobbey area is very attractive and the staff was helpful and nice. The room itself was attractive enough but just a...

I’m so glad you all enjoyed your stay. I may be a little biased, but I 100% agree about our location – close to everything. It's just far enough away from the downtown crowds especially during the Nike marathon that brings thousands of people to support a great cause. We do have an electronic ramp at the very entrance of...

We stayed here during our vacation to San Francisco and Napa Valley. Our booking was split into two stays as we spent a few days in Yountville. And on both occasions the Hotel Vertigo was an absolute pleasure to stay in. We had a beautifully appointed room with bay windows facing the street. The noise was quite minimal at night...

Thank you for the comprehensive review. We really appreciate the feedback. And thanks for the kudos to Sean, Gregory and the maintenance guy's name that escapes your memory is Carl. We try and give them lots of praise, but it’s so much better when the recognition comes straight from you. We look forward to welcoming you back to San Francisco!...

This was a last minute booking, so I didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival, it seemed like this would be an average, nothing-special hotel. The lobby staff was polite, but didn't really have the sharp professional service of other boutique hotels. The rest of the lobby seemed a little worn as well, so my expectation was that the...

Hotel Vertigo is a nice hotel on a good location: lots of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood and if you don't mind walking also near a lot of interesting places: Chinatown, Japantown, Fisherman's wharf (bit of a walk but very nice). The hotel itself has no restaurant (so no breakfast and diner), but enough coffee shops & restaurants close...

Stayed here in September and enjoyed it so much. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We had looked for a triple room and only had a twin room. That was down to our tour operator though as they indicated that it would be a triple not the hotel. Would definitely stay there again of I go back to San...
