This was a nice hotel, with an interesting bar and a busy restaurant. The rooms were clean, refurbished in a French style, but a bit on the small side. The staff were great. Told us loads of good places to eat and drink. It was convenient- just off Union Square in all the shops and restaurants and a tram drive...

Let's start with Aveline and The European, and I agree, two of the most interesting spots in all of San Francisco. The story of the European is fascinating: During Prohibition, many flocked to Europe to imbibe, requesting traditional American cocktails. Bartenders throughout Europe infused the cocktails with their own touch. After the lift of the Prohibition, many of the recipes...

We stayed here and really loved the location of the hotel. Safe, close to Union Sq - what more could you want! Our standard room was compact, quiet, clean and comfortable - our only complaint was that the room smelled a bit! I noticed it immediately & when I talked to the reception desk they said it must be because...

Thank you for sharing the many great points about The Warwick San Francisco. Our proximity to Union Square and it bountiful selection of world class shopping and entertainment is unparalleled. It is true that when you walk out our doors past Aveline, our restaurant serving the freshest seasonal ingredients from local farms, artisans and purveyors, you are entering a vibrant...

After reading some reviews I must admit I was a little uneasy, but the pictures said otherwise! We were pleasantly surprised with thei quant boutique hotel! Got upgraded to a suite so that was very nice because it had a balcony! Road noise is a little loud towards morning but what do you expect you're staying in a busselling town!...

Thank you for the great review and we are happy you selected The Warwick San Francisco while on your 600 mile adventure from Ontario CA. We are glad you enjoyed your balcony suite with its beautifully redone bath and a theatre district view. You are so right about the buzz of our city, and that excitement is what makes San...

Booked this hotel on hotwire for a good price. Location was quite good. Got a free upgrade to a suite, which was nice. Room was not very big, but pretty well appointed. A bit of noise and a view of a dirty alleyway. Staff were friendly.

Thank you for taking your valuable time and positing a review of our hotel on tripadvisor. We know that one side of our beautiful Beaux-Arts style hotel faces the service alley for our block and it tends to be the quieter side of the hotel. On your next visit just let us know you prefer the street side of our...

If I had to rate the hotel by itself the review would be very good. The rooms are lovely, well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is great for easy access to a lot of things. And if you don't need sleep or need to rest or is you are in SF to party...

I need to start with an apology. I am sorry for the lack of concern and empathy offered by our front desk team member. Any response will “HMM” at the start is unacceptable. The well-being of you and all our guests is of the utmost importance. Although we have little control over our neighbors, but we will be reaching out...

We booked a room on price line name-your-own-price so we got a great deal. Upon arrival, our room had 2 double beds. We fingured we were out of luck, given we had not booked thruough the hotel, but after a quick trip back downstairs where my husband explained it was our anniversary, the very pleasant young woman at the front...

I am happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us. I am also glad you enjoyed the room. The Loft Fireplace Suite is one of the prettiest rooms in the bay area and quite a surprise for most of our guests. We were pleasantly surprised of how roomy the room was. Too bad we checked in later in the evening (6pm) for just one night. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk to everything including to the Bart station, using the Bart for the trip back to SFO instead of other form of transportation. Very easy!

Warwick is a nice quality smaller "boutique" hotel. I think for the hotel it is trying to be (NOT a major destination hotel but more of a local boutique) it is a good bet. We had a 5th floor balcony suite. While compact in size, it worked for the two of us for three days. I am glad we booked...

The staff were very friendly and helpful, exactly what you want when staying in a hotel. Unfortunately the hotel itself was not exactly as wonderful. Dear SiliconValleyCA Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. I was disappointed to learn that we did not meet your expectations. We can certainly understand how the presence of smoke would be disconcerting, especially to you pregnant daughter. Typically, it is not an issue here, but we do take immediate action if there is a...

We stayed at The Warwick for 4 nights over Christmas and, on the whole, enjoyed our stay. We had booked a suite which turned out not to be two rooms (as we'd expected) but one large-ish and spacious bedroom, with a sitting area. Our room had an open fire, which made the room rather cosy, and we also had a...
