No air conditioning, creaky floors, small 'suite' rooms, overpriced, no double glazing nor blackout blinds, noisy hallways, vacuuming at 8am outside the room, no tea/coffee facilities, wonky TV about to fall of the wall, customers suitcases littering the public areas, truly sleepless night... the list of issues is endless. If this still appeals then perhaps $200 per night will seem...

My husband and I couldn't have been any happier with our hotel choice for our 5 night stay in San Francisco! The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. They answered all of our questions and were knowledgeable. We had the Standard Queen room and it surpassed our expectations. It was small, but a perfect size for the two of us....

This is not a reflection on the staff of the hotel (the one or two in the whole building) but an honest review of our stay From the moment we stepped through the door to the outdated damp smelling lobby we realised what a massive overpriced mistake we had made At over £110 a night we expected something comfortable and...

This was our second visit to San Francisco and we decided (based on our wonderful experience last time) to re book with this hotel. We were not disappointed they looked after us really well and made us feel as if we had come home. Fantastic location with a bus stop right outside and really good cocktails in the bar! We...

This hotel is very outdated and old fashioned. We arrived around 8.30pm on a Sunday evening, tired and hungry after travelling and hoping we could just grab something from the hotel and get some sleep. The hotel restaurant or bar is not open on a Sunday or a Monday - a bit annoying to be wandering unfamiliar streets at night...

Really liked this hotel. I was slightly put off after reading some reviews before going so I was pleased once I saw how nice it is. Yes, it could do with some decorating but I loved the style of the hotel. Only faults I can think of are the room we had was quite small and the bed was pretty...

Pricy for what you get. We were on 5th floor and felt like the floor was tilting. Very clean, however. We ate breakfast at the restaurant. It was the best omelet I've ever had but a little Pricy for breakfast. The service was excellent at hotel and restaurant.

I was in San Francisco for a convention. Old fashion hotel. Basic service, Wi-Fi not excellent. I took a basic breakfast and paid $28 !! A bit far for downtown (25 min walking distance ). No room service evening and no good restaurant around hotel. No desk in room.

We stayed at hotel majestic for four days in august 2016. The hotel is located away from the major tourist attractions of fisherman's wharf by 20 minutes walk or a short bus ride. It is downhill - an important feature in San Francisco.. There arehowever not many bars or restaurants in the local area. The hotel is comfortable and friendly. We...

Where do I start? There was no welcome greeting and in fact it was like no one was around when we arrived at the hotel. Receptionist was not welcoming at all. Security was watching a sport game on his phone. We had called a few weeks earlier to advise our flight was arriving early and if we could possibly check...
