We stayed at the Donatello for two nights and were very impressed. We were surprised how large the room was! Our room was clean and modern looking. The free wireless internet was nice and allowed us to plan our day since this was our first time to San Francisco. Jesus the front desk attendant was awesome, we mentioned we were...

Recently stayed a week in San Francisco at the Donatello Hotel on Post St. near Union Square. Location of the hotel was pretty good and furnishings were adequate. Experienced trouble with air conditioning and had to open windows to stay cool at night. This created a lot of street noise (we were on 6th floor) interfering with sleep. Complained and...

Stayed for four nights in June, 2010. The room was fantastic, large and well furnished with TV, DVD and music centre. It also had a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave and crockery and cutlery for the odd meal in. Coffee maker as well, but free coffee is available all day in the roof garden lounge. Enormous bed - and very...

My husband and I recently visited the San Francisco area. Our travel agent booked us into The Donatello Hotel. The staff there were great, I have never had hotel staff that concerned on how we were doing. Keep up the great work!!!! I would totally return if I'm ever in the area again. Thanks again!

What a terrific place to spend a night in San Francisco. From the moment we arrived to check in, the check in clerk was a pleasure, to the time we, sadly, checked out, our experience was heavenly. The room was spacious and clean, the bed wonderfully comfortable. Even the radio go great reception. The location is top notch too. We...

We recently spent an evening in San Francisco, which included an overnight stay at the Donatello. The Donatello exceeded our expectations in every aspect; friendly & helpful staff, very nice accommodations, overall comfort, located in Union Square. Also, the lounge located on the 2nd floor offered live music, in a comfortable setting with friendly staff. A nice place to end...

Large, comfy rooms, friendly and helpful staff, great views from the guest lobby on the top floor, and quiet. Just off Union Square and close to lots of car rental sites to drop off/pick up a car, and a Walgreens to get snacks. Our family of five had two adjacent rooms and teens and parents all loved this hotel. We...

We stayed at the Donatello for 3 nights -our first trip to San Francisco. Room was great - roomy with a sofa and chair, refrigerator and decent size bathroom. Location was wonderful - one block from cable cars, easy access to most tourist things. Staff was very pleasant to deal with....restaurant food was good. We'd definitely stay there again!

Booked this hotel on the basis of previous reviews and we were not disappointed. We arrve very early following a long train journey from Seattle and only wanted to drop off our luggage enabling us to spend some time in the city. You can imagine our surprise and delight when Manuel who was working at reception informed us that our...

I found out about the Donatello Hotel through Tripadvisor and decided to stay there on the basis of the reviews. The room, which was very spacious and well furnished, was impressive. There was a refrigerator, a coffee maker, real cups, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. The staff was courteous and friendly and the hotel is in an excellent location. I ate...
