We stayed at Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf. Came to checked out Hyatt Regency SF's awesome Christmas decoration, bought a drink and snacks, and was escorted out for stepping into the glass lift/elevator for fun. Yes, we were not this Hyatt's guests, and the security was doing his job. However, was it really necessary to kick out a mother and her elementary school age son? We couldn't go anywhere with the lift anyway, because it doesn't work without a hotel room key.
Visited San Fransisco with my little family of four and stayed at the Hyatt. The room was clean and the view from our room was beautiful. Location is perfect because it's close to many of San Frans attractions. We were either able to walk or take a short ride on the MUNI to most places. Most importantly the area seemed safer than other areas, in regards to homelessness. This is important when you travel with littles. Overall, if you are traveling to San Fransisco the Hyatt Regency is an excellent option! Don't forget to try the lemon drop at the bar! They're delish!
Nostalgic! My wife and I love this place. It was the place where we spent our honeymoon. The staff is so friendly and the location is perfect. It is close to our favorite Embarcadero and the historical ferry building.
We had a total of 7 rooms and everything was PERFECT! From the guys at the door to the staff at check in the Staff in the dining area. Rooms and View were great .. I have no complaints. ***************************
Breathtaking views, beautiful rooms, great service - who could ask for anything more? All requests were handled quickly with courtesy and the staff couldn't be more kind. One side views the bay bridge, the other the San Rafael bridge.
This is our second stay at this location based on the proximity to the Ferry Building, and ability to explore many areas of San Francisco. Kids love the big lobby and clear elevators giving them a "Big city" feel! On both occasions our rooms were updated clean, and comfortable and feel that there is great price value especially for families.
We were just so pleasantly surprised about the level of service we received. The staff offered wonderful suggestions to make our stay even better. Will definitely return and would recommend this hotel.
What a beautiful hotel in the heart of San Francisco, conveniently located to all the sites and to the office! Room is spacious with a view overlooking the plaza. Everything was clean, in good working order, and quite comfortable. This is my new #1 go-to place to stay when in SF!
The Hyatt in San Francisco was one of our favorite hotels we have stayed in. Reasonable rates for the area. Very well renovated. Rooms were very clean and very nice. We will definitely stay here again when in the SF area.
Quite enjoyed a four-night stay. The room was nicely refreshed, thoughtfully arranged—loved the at-foot nightlight that was motion activated for those middle-of-the-night bathroom visits, and provided really good sleep quality. The common elements of the space were striking, as was the architect’s intent, but the overall flow of the property is actually quite manageable. Staff at the bar were great for a drink or a bite to eat and the Regency Club was an excellent respite and very much appreciated. My Hyatt Globalist status was acknowledged and benefits conferred proactively and with graciousness. The point of brand loyalty is to receive the chain’s promises without asking and Hyatt Regency SF delivered that unquestionably. I enjoyed my stay, will book again, and do recommend.…
