Recently stayed here for a short trip. Found the location quite central, with all modes of transportation just in front of the hotel. Walk to Pier 39 is about 30 mins or 10 mins by bus. Chinatown is a 20-min walk away while Union Square is about 30 mins walk. Embarcadero Centre is just beside the hotel with excellent Chinese...

The Hyatt Regency is a nice hotel - inviting lobby with a very large, open atrium format. Doormen greet and can take luggage, if you desire. Staff were impeccably courteous and professional. Rooms were modern with easily accessible plugs and USB ports on each side of the bed. TV's supported ChromeCast for watching your own Netflix/HBO. The only negative at...

Great hotel with beautiful sights of the bay. Beautiful lobby. Convenient access to tons of restaurants and shopping options. Doesn't get much better at this price. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

This place has been here for decades. And it has weathered the years well. It's obviously been improved and updated. Some of it still feels "old school" - 70s or 80s feel decor- but so what, still looks great and isn't that in fashion anyway? Not in the middle of tourist areas which was fine by us. Easy to get...

Great location for doing business and fitting in some quick sight seeing. Lots of food and shopping options nearby. Hotel is clean and nice staff. Very noisy at night, so restful sleep is not an option.

A bit older but all of your choices in DT SF are older. Big fan of my room 1111 (actual rm #) overall a decent stay. Sick views. No real room service - premade sandwhiches and chips. But if you go to the lobby bar you can order food and bring it to your room. Really just need menus in...

Nice hotel at the heart of the city. Wonderful stay. The view from the hotel is very pleasant. It's on the costly side but is worth every penny. The staff is very helpful and nice in guiding the local attractions.

Been there, for a week in a business trip. Very clean with exceptional view to Baybridge. Restaurant was good, breakfast quite expensive, but you can find everything just step outside. I would strongly recommend for logistic position in the city. I will definitively return back next ttime in SF. The only miss I would say, is the pool, it would...

Sound proofing needs to be improved. It's very noisy. On one night, woken up at 4am and 5am by some people warming up their vehicle engines. Food standard was satisfactory except for the coffee. Cappuccino can definitely be improved.

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
