As a Hyatt Diamond, I've stayed at Hyatts from the low-end (Hyatt Place in LA/OC) to the top-of-the-line (Park Hyatt New York). This rebranded Hyatt Centric was my first. Unfortunately it was lackluster and failed to make a good first impression. Check-in process was just ok. While the agent was very nice, it was the very first time, my Diamond...

Arriving after a long flight from sydney and having contacted hotel in advance request an early check in if possible. They'd assured us that early check would not be a problem. On arrival we were told that 1 room was ready. So we took 5 large suitcases and 2 sick kids to room only to find that it was totally...

We stayed here for a few nights over Labor Day weekend. The hotel is clean, comfortable and is a good location near Fisherman's Wharf. The description of the Centric brand made it sound like the hotel would have more of a boutique feel to it, but we found it more like a basic hotel (Hilton Garden Inn, Marriott Courtyard, etc.)....

We stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel itself is nice, looks new. Our room wasn't ready so we ended up paying for an upgrade ($30/night). All it really got us was a better view. The room itself was nice. It main area (bedroom/sitting area) wasn't super spacious. However, there was plenty of closet space and the bathroom was quite...

This hotel is conveniently located to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiradelli Square. We had the family room due to 3 single adults and our room was clean and roomy. I can't say enough about the staff because they were so pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurant Brick and Beam unless you just want something convenient.

Consistent with other reviews, there is nothing special about this hotel. Lots of people in and out, signs of tear and wear. Strange design with conference rooms on a lower level and some elevators going there and some not. The restaurant is average or below average. The gym is adequate but just barely. One day, there were protesters on the...

This hotel is not a lavish hotel but a nice business hotel with efficient front office and decent rooms. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is walking distance from Pier 39, has supermarkets around the corners and some shops too. (Ross and World Market). For breakfast you have hollywood cafe right across the street which serves great...
