PROS: Great location to the wharf, lombard street, trolley and street cars. Lots of places to eat within 2 blocks of the hotel. CONS: Parking is $40 a night and the parking spaces are very small. All hotels in SF charge a rate similar. The bar and restaurant in the hotel was not very good and way over priced. The...

The rooms are always clean, but Wifi is so slow and no free breakfast either, but friendly staff. The hotel is within short distances of all of San Fran's landmarks including the cable cars and Wharf.

My wife and I decided to stay in this hotel after we stayed there in 2003 with our two sons. We stayed in the new addition at the next street which we found frustrating as we had to haul our luggage outside the main check in area and take along the street to another part of the hotel which took...

Stayed here for 5 days end of March 2014. Great location close to wharf. Stayed in main building. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Ate at Denny's once but great restaurant for breakfast just across the street. I would stay here again. Part of vacation package so price was okay.

I had not realised that this hotel is in two buildings on either side of a road. We had deliberately been seeking a hotel with a pool, but as the pool was in the main building and we were in the other, it ended up being too much hassle to use the pool. As it happened the weather was not...

Expensive, breakfast not included, $40 per day parking, LA was cheaper and that was valet. Wifi and barely connected. Nice room though, can't fault the sleeping arrangements. Maybe it's more expensive because it's the city but personally, next time, I'll find elsewhere.

The main building of this hotel is really nice and impressive and when arriving we were happy to discover we booked a good hotel. However, once we got our keys we understood that they have 2 Buildings and one is completely different from the main one. Probably because of our small discount - they gave us the other building which...

We stayed here with a tour. The hotel was very comfortable, and a convenient location for public transport - buses, the F line, cable cars.
