Michelle R. the bartender at the Bei Hotel provided us a great evening full of generous drinks, great conversation and an over heart warming time during the holidays. Cheers to Michelle! My best friend and I have made a new friend and would love to come back.
I told Ana and Yolanda (I think that was her name) that I would write a review, so here I am. The BEI Hotel has the most accommodating, friendliest staff ever! From the valet parking guy, to everyone at the front desk.. I was there in December 2021 at the same time a nearby rave was happening. The staff gave me a head's up about the event, recommended restaurants, etc. But this was the cherry on top - my bf and I got to the hotel before check-in, so we were getting ready to roam SF until our room was ready and I asked the front desk if there was any water, or a store nearby. They suggested a place nearby, but just before I left the most professional, very sweet, asian man (I wish I got his name!!) handed me a water bottle under the table. I joked, "I won't tell!" lol. Literally it's those small things that go a LONG way. Beautiful room, beautiful views, but top notch of all - amazing staff!…
We stayed via reward points. The advertised price of the room would not have been worth it. The black out shade on the window was full of holes. Although we didn’t have a need for fresh towels, having mor coffee would have been nice. I had to look up online the roast of the coffee.
In town for a concert. Ana and Steven are incredibly helpful. Assisted me in printing a document I needed and were able to extend our reservation when we chose to stay another night and take in an additional show during our trip. Just a couple blocks from our BART Station, Theatres, & the Bill Graham Auditorium. We were able to walk to everything we were in town for. Rooms are clean comfortable and Chromecast is installed on In-room tv's. So if you aren't satisfied with available programming when relaxing in your room, I was able to stream Netflix, Disney+, and DISH from my own device. Entire staff was kind and accommodating. Will definitely look up availability, for future trips. Thank you.
The hotel is very nice and a great value and close to Union Square (a short walk away). rooms are remodeled as well as the entire hotel. I recommend upgrading to city view!!! Staff was very nice and the check in process was quick and easy along with parking. Ana who checked us in was warm and friendly every time we interacted with her. We are staying here again in a few weeks because its a great deal for how nice the hotel is.
I like everything but the internet. If this is the work trip for you I would stay far away from this hotel. Basically no internet at all to do anything. The internet go on and off and you can’t watch Netflix or check your email even
Ana and Steven are top tier employees. They helped us to get checked early to our hotel and were very sweet with all of our requests and questions!! Would recommend staying here just for them. Carpets could use cleaning though.
Steven at the front desk was super polite and got us checked in super fast! He was super informative and accommodated for our stay! The room was super clean and was a perfect way to spend my night in San Francisco. 10/10 I will stay again the next time I'm in SF. Thank you.
Excellent customer service and friendly concierge. I was helped by Yolanda and Ana both had big smiles and helped us in for or two day stay. Thanks BEI for they stay always a great time. So close to great food and vibes
The BEI hotel in San Francisco is plentiful. The room was very minimal. Each room has a Television with its connection, which is easy for Hulu, Netflix, HBO MAX, etc., along with direct tv. The BEI has its gym on the 4th floor with the newer treadmills and free weights, Alongside An outside terrace/ lounge area. The staff was always Lovely (Ms. Esther) (and Ms. Ana). Security was always vigilant, and I never felt unsafe At any point. The bar on the ground floor was average. The (male) bartender could be more attentive to ALL customers. The area outside of the hotel is questionable. The Tenderloin is a neighborhood with extreme homeless activity. I was never bothered or felt unsafe, but it's unattractive, to say the least, walking outside and seeing droves of homeless people and smelling piss and dog waste. The Urban Alchemy does its best to keep individuals safe, even going further to explain their purpose while on duty.…
