The staff, from the Valet, to the Front Desk, to Housekeeping, are top notch. Never heard any workout noise from YMCA. Wasn't sure the hour(s) the Concierge worked; would have liked to try to get a reservation at Slanted Door or Boulevard.

All of our Guest Service Agents are also our Concierge team! Please let us know when you might return, and we will arrange a table for you at The Slanted Door...it is one of my favorites and should not be missed (The cellophane crab noodles are to DIE for!) - Melinda

My wife and I were guests of the Harbor Court during an overnight stop on December 11 on the way to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary [and Christmas, of course] with our daughter who lives in Fresno. Our flight from the UK had been delayed and there was a hold-up at immigration and customs this end so our arrival the...

Well...I have always loved the English...Just had some tea and Hobnobs earlier I did :) and you have only deepened that love my friend. I am thrilled that your daughter let us know you were celebrating such a special anniversary...you should have seen the excitement around here when we decided what to put in your room to surprise you...I can't...

i really wanted to love this place but the little things kept me from giving a higher score. the rooms are nice and clean but weird out-croppings (support beams?) from the wall which tells you that the refurb was limited to space. do not leave the key in fridge door, you will hit it when you awake...4 bandages on my...

Wow, you really walked right into that minibar key, so sorry you hurt yourself! Also my apologies for the interuption of your nap as one of my employees was returning your dry cleaning to you. Not all of our rooms have beams in the ceiling, if you prefer one without, please feel free to give me a ring next time...

The hotel was very good. The room wasnt large but as we only in it at night it was adequate. We stayed for 4 nights late November. Location is very good for public transport, across the road from the ferry bldg. Staff were helpful, rooms clean and comfortable

And that's not an easy feat, as I'd imagine I've stayed in over 150 hotels in the last 8 years, all over the globe. I had stayed at a few other Kimptons elsewhere over the years, but hadn't ever loved one this much. Very reasonably priced, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, great location and so many fun details. Plus,...

I am a huge cheapskate when it comes to hotels and I only stayed here because my job paid for it and it was close to a class I had to take but the extras here are good enough that I would pay to stay here with my own money in the future. The staff was extremely friendly as other...

The Harbor Court has a great location on the waterfront between the Bay Bridge and the Ferry Building, and is only a short walk from the BART. If you can grab the right room, you’ll get a beautiful view of the bridge. The rooms are tiny, but nicely appointed in the trendy Kimpton style (stay at any one of their...

The staff reviews are no joke. The staff is unbelievable in customer service and just pure hospitality. This is a young staff. There are no career concierges here but they deliver hospitality, warmth and easygoing charm with effortless grace, from the desk to the porters and food service. The hotel has no kitchen but there's a wonderful coffee setup every...

This hotel lived up to its great reviews! The staff was fast and efficient checking in and offered great local info on what to see and do (and how to get there). I strongly recommend getting a bay view room because the view is simply amazing. The hotel has several great fun extras like the milk and cookies which were...

We loved our stay at the Harbor Court hotel. It was close to the BART, only a 2-3 block walk which is nice when hauling your luggage from the airport. During the week the restaurant and hotels in the area are busy with the work crowd so Harbor Court has a free happy hour from 5pm - 6pm with free...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
