I was in SF on business and for an entire day, the power was out due to a blown transformer, no fault of the hotel. Yet even in that craziness of managing an entire hotel with no power, the staff at the hotel did everything in their power to make the guests feel safe and secure. Additionally, food (deli type)...

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently while in the San Francisco. It's located in the heart of Union Square surrendered by the fashionable up scale stores and still a little taxi ride to the Embarcadero. Walking distance to China Town and there a wide variety of stores for any needs you may want. There is a...

This is my second time staying at the Grand Hyatt. It's an absolute winner in terms of location, close proximity to everything. For starters you're right in Union Square and virtually across from Macy's. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Ferry building (no hills) where you can hire bikes or take the ferry to Sausalito. The hotel itself...

It was raining as I came in the door along with 50 plus other conference attendees (of which I was not a part) and they quickly triaged me and had my check-in lickety split. The lady who checked me in saw I was a tad wet and offered me a complimentary umbrella which I thought was super nice. The room...

Not all Hyatt hotel are the same in quality but Grand Hyatt @ Union Square well meets my expectations. The high ratings are indeed justified with 2000 reviews already. What stands this Hyatt out is its great location close to major departmental chains and short walk to Chinatown (for Chinese food). Taxi fare from airport to hotel will set you...

Let me start by saying all of the staff I interacted with were very helpful and professional. However, my stay was overshadowed by a couple of negative issues. First, housekeeping removed or disposed of some of my toiletries. I travel 6-10 times a year on businesss (plus personal travel) and have never had this happen before. There was little possibility...

Spend more than 60 nights in SF. Tried the new Intercont, Ritz, Hyatt Embarc, St. Regis.... The Grand Hyatt is the best. The gym is ecxcellent, food is good and the room are very comfortable. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff, bell guys, housekeeping, valet guys, front desk and most importantly the GP specislist, Ms. Shiroma,...

Stayed here two nights on business. Efficient at check in and room clean and reasonable size. Free and fast wifi obvious plus. Didn't use too many amenities but gym looked well equipped. Would have liked to use top floor bar but closed apparently now for two years. Didn't appreciate having to wait for table at breakfast but sorted itself out...
