Love this hotel. Right off Union Square. Great for business also if you happen to like Christmas shopping in The City. Easy across the bridge to Emeryville / Oakland in case you are headed that way. Staff is excellent and super friendly.

We stayed here 5/27. First off, the staff, EVERYONE, is absolutely AMAZING and helpful. They provided suggestions for site seeing, transportation and food. Unlike other hotels that charge $8 per bottled water, we had 6 brought to us for free. The hotel is literally in the heart of the city. We were a 5 min or less walk from Chinatown...

Thank you for your review and your compliment on our staff! They are truly amazing and many of our guests keep coming back because of our staff. Sounds like you had a fun time exploring San Francisco and shopping in Union Square. You are absolutely right about riding a trolley, it's a must-do in San Francisco! I do want to...

Well located in downtown San Francisco with only walking stroll to Macy, Disney store, Union Square and other shopping strip. It's also couple blocks away from Powell Street turntable and Westfield. The good thing is you don't see homeless around your hotels as homeless is part of SF community that you normally see around the town. Room is kinda small...

We chose The Grand Hyatt for our weekend getaway as it was perfectly located in between the theater, Book of Mormon, and the restaurant, Slanted Door. It's a well-maintained property with stunning views of the Bay and city. The proximity to Union Square was also a real bonus. I will stay here again when I return to the city.

My opinion of the Grand Hyatt San Francisco... meh... I stayed for a night in a standard double and found it to be small and the bed to not be very comfortable. The amenities are average, the bathroom is average, the check-in experience was average.... you get the point. By far my biggest complaint with this hotel is the service....

Thank you for your feedback. Please accept my apology for the poor arrival experience. We have re-arranged the order the listing of our transportation, so that BART does not appear as the first option. We have also added a comment "Distance between BART station to our hotel is approximately 0.4 miles uphill, we recommend to take Taxi or Airport shuttle...

This hotel is situated nicely so you can access Chinatown, Union Square, the Moscone convention center, and other areas within minutes by foot. The modern feel and the great amenities were a welcome treat that I enjoyed while staying here on business. The higher floors (I stayed on the 23rd) offer scenic views of the bay (including coit tower, Alcatraz)...

Hadn't stayed at this property in several years, but they've really upgraded the place. Rooms are spacious and have everything you'd need. Staff were friendly, welcoming and available. The coffee bar had fresh muffins and breakfast sandwiches which is always great.

The Grand Hyatt has great staff that care about your stay. The rooms are updated with Hyatt class. The location is fantastic, just around the corner from union square. We walked to the theater and plenty of dining and shopping options. This location is safe and views of the bay are awesome.

If it wasn't the neighbors too loud at midnight to interrupt our sleep, it'd be a perfect trip. But everything else was great. The staff are excellent. Would stay there again.
