I expected more from a Grand Hyatt. This perhaps is low on their scale of hotels. Very basic and nothing special about it. Clunky elevators and tired rooms. I had to ask the housekeeping personnel to come and clean the bathroom when I checked in. Apparently, only clean towels and amenities were put there. At least I hope they were...

The Grand Hyatt San Francisco is always my first choice downtown. Centrally located, GREAT staff, OneUP all make it an easy choice. The hotel is very conveniently located next to Union Square and Chinatown. It delivers exactly what one would expect form a big modern hotel. The room was good and the service good. Being so central to the city, it is expensive so if I was in San Francisco on a budget I'd most likely stay elsewhere.

Good location @ the heart of union square. Fast Wi-Fi. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Coffee facilities & equipments in the room. Quite noisy because of the construction behind the building. Don't prefer the rooms overlooking union square.

Centrally located by Union Square. Short walk to Chinatown and close to cable car going to Fisherman's Wharf. Nice hotel, friendly staff and decent bar. Good lunch at reasonable prices. Clean good size rooms. Recommended.

We stayed here for my birthday. When we told them it was my birthday they upgraded our room! The room itself was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great. We were right in Union Square and were within walking distance of so much. Highly recommend!

Outstanding service, beautiful rooms, extremely comfortable beds, attentive staff. Perfect in every way. We stayed at the Marriott Suites as well during the same trip and had beds that were hard as a rock and HVAC that blows directly on you all night. The Hyatt is an excellent value if you can afford a well priced luxury hotel.

Big room nice bathroom, great view clean and a double size bed with a very good quality mattress. Good price for a king room with bay view. The staff very polite and always available to help. Very close to downtown. Waking distance to Union Square and Chinatown. What else you need to have a great stay? Very good choice .
