Very modern hotel, very business oriented, good gym. Very much like any other Hyatt. The service at check-in is great, but I felt that the concierge was rather annoyed of me (most likely because he gets the same questions all day long). My room was full of long, black hair in the bathroom, but also in my bed linen, so...

The hotel is spectacular! It is adjacent to Union Square which puts you within walking distance to many other places to explore. And if you don't like walking then all kinds of taxis and other public transportation is immediately available. You will love the hotels rooms and restaurant / bar. Typically I avoid buffets like the plague but their breakfast...

Visited here for business recently. This hotel is in a prime location if you have multiple meetings around the city as it is quite central. Checkin was fast, although the lobby checkin area is a bit odd and confusing (as in there is really no front desk, just a bunch of workstations). As a Diamond member in the Hyatt program,...

I've stayed in this hotel for 2 straight years now..both times for business trips. The best part of the hotel is perhaps the location. Right now marred by construction but nothing beats the proximity to Union Square. The check-in process was quick and easy although I was disappointed that some of the things I had requested for before booking weren't...

Thank you for your review and for returning to the Grand Hyatt for 2 years in a row. Please accept my sincere apology that we didn't replace the tea in your room with green tea. I've sent you a private message for more information of your stay, and we will notate it in your profile as guest preference.

The Grand Hyatt in SF was in a great location and close to many shops as well as China Town. The room we had looked out toward the Financial District and we loved the floor to ceiling windows. The movie prices on the TV were ridiculously high.

Great central location. Incredibly convenient for shopping. Get a higher floor for spectacular views...if you are an East Coaster, coffee service starts early...take a walk to Chinatown to see the sights at dawn and no crowds!

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hyatt during my short business trip. My room was very clean, and the furniture was nice (modern). I stayed on a higher floor, so I had a great view of the city. Also, the location was great as it was pretty close to the financial district and Union Square, which was great for...

It is truly right next to the Union Square. But the down side is that there is a construction site right next to the hotel. Construction work lasted the whole night the first night of our 4 day stay there. That was bad. The hotel got some renovation recently. Not super nicely done, but does not look old any more....

Got the "bonus" room upgrade for a very reasonable $39, but our room faced construction. Also, couldn't seem to get HVAC fan onto low setting. Thank goodness for earplugs. Bed was super comfortable, and we slept well. Very nice business touches such as reading lights next to the bed, lots of outlets to charge our electronics, and a/v plus VGA...
