Served a good breakfast but unable to enjoy our first morning as we had to leave by 0630 for a sight-seeing trip, friendly service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was crowed-needed to clear tables more often.

Had 2 rooms with a bay view. We didn't have fog while we were there so the view was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. We were able to walk to the waterfront. Would stay here again.

When booking a room and you want a queen bed better ask for a king bed! My husband and I have been sleeping in a Queen bed for years! This was a full bed. I was told this was Comfort Inn's version of a Queen bed. The sad part we were in the handicap room. The rooms are clean and...

Fantastic location near the marina, lombard street and high quality restaurants. There is a great steak house directly across the street called "BoBos". Of course its a comfort inn so its going to be somewhat outdated, there were some stains on the carpet as well. But, for the location, parking only 26 dollars (steal in SF) and rooms with a...

I arrived late at night and apart from having a security buzzer on the door arriving at this time of night was not a problem. The lady was very friendly and helpful and much appreciated after such a long trip. The room was very good, breakfast also good, staff really helpful - lots of information with regard to arranging trips...

This is the place for families and comfort. Walking Distance to cable Cars, Guiridellis, and the Wharf as well as The Crooked street-Lombard! We had a suite of two rooms which was reasonably priced and worth it in terms of price, size and privacy for families. My teen enjoyed her own living are with a pull out sofa!! Very clean...

Good value, decent clean rooms and breakfast buffet but nothing to set the world on fire. Having said that, a well placed base for exploring San Francisco and did what we needed. Breakfast buffet was fine but not massively inspiring. But then it's essentially a budget hotel.

Wish there were a way to give half points on tripadvisor. This hotel was clean and had a good location. The front desk was helpful and knew the city well. Those are the things that would get 4 points from me. On the 3 point side, the rooms are in need of some updating. Also, they charge $26 a day...

Couldn't properly sleep because the traffic and the night club in front were too loud. Breakfast offers basic stuff but nothing special. We've had a nice view on golden gate. Walking distance to Fishermans wharf. Too expensive. For sure there are better hotels available for that money.

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
