The hotel is only a block away from Union Square Park and 2 blocks Market Street where you can access public transportation. The Convention Center is only 5 blocks away. The hotel is very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Great price for location.

If you’re a first time visitor to San Francisco, and want to be near to most touristy places, I think this hotel speaks of it. It’s near to Union Square, most shopping places, the Powell Street cable car turnaround point, and other restaurants.
Originally home to rallies supporting the Union Army in the Civil War, this grand square has become the city's premier shopping and entertainment district containing the largest number of upscale department stores, chic boutiques, art galleries and theatres in the city. It's a large open area where tourists and locals gather, watch cable cars and crowds go by, enjoy a snack, or plan their day of shopping and
sightseeing, If feeling the pulsating energy of the city is on your agenda, Union Square is the place to soak it in.
We arrived around 12pm from Melbourne and were able to leave our bags (in a separate room) until our room was ready.Checkout was 11am. I found check ins in the US were either 3pm or 4pm everywhere we went!
