Wasn't our first choice of hotel, but considering the other options in the surrounding area, this one was great! Room was clean. I don't think there was AC in the room, but we weren't spending much time in the room when it was warm outside and the evenings are cool in San Francisco anyway--no biggy. The toilet flushed really loud,...

The positives: This hotel was mostly clean and comfortable. There was no in room AC, but it wasn't necessary during my stay. The decor was cute, and downstairs in the lobby there is a little cafe that serves sandwiches and coffee. The staff was nice, and it is close to the civic center muni station, so we were easily able...

Sadly this hotel uses a water heater which management turn on at 4.30 in the morning. Even when it is switched off it thumps and clunks so loudly you can't sleep. The shower was also very poor. The surrounding area is not great for young children as there are many homeless and mentally unstable people nearby.

The rooms were very clean and warm. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor was unique. The rooms are basic.....there was no fridge, safe, coffee making facilities. There was also no bar or restaurant (in contrast with what the trip advisor description says). My main issue was the location.....the hotel borders on an area that did not appear particularly...

Very low quality hotel. No a/c in room. Floors squeeked. Could hear conversations next door. Elevator was 13 years out of inspection. Staff did not even question when we told them we were leaving after checking in for 1 hour.

Where to begin?! DO NOT judge this hotel by its lobby. The lobby makes it look like a decent hotel (which is how the get you in) but the rooms are horrible. They smell dingy, there is no AC (if we are hot we can open the window to sleep but also have to hear everything going on outside, including...

Elevator inspection according to the sign in the elevator was performed 2012 and valid to 2013. Means that stairs to 4:th floot was used frequently. Power outlet in room was broken and open to cables. All in safety was not number one. Will I stay at Embassy the next time I visit SF? Don't think so.

The “Embassy” hotel..... a bad experience · Cheking-In: On arrivel, the hotel reception assign us a room that has soon as we open the door we notice that the room had a common door with a room next door (that we did not ask for and we were not informed about) and also a tremendous smell at Tabaco smoke, (which...

I called the hotel and they said that it was in a good area but come to find out its one street away from a very bad area. We arrived and the water pressure didn't exist- when you put the water on hot it barely trickled out but when you would turn it on cold it would come out better...
