This is a great hotel with an excellent staff. If your at the Moscone Center for an event this is an extremely convenient location. The hotel is beautiful and housekeeping is impeccable. The bar and restaurant are a bit over priced for the neighborhood but it is an Intercontinental.

We stayed at the Hotel for a Conference last August. The hotel is very modern and the staff was helpful. Our room was clean and of decent size. The bathrooms are also very nice. The location is the only downside for the InterContinental San Francisco. You have to walk a few blocks to get to anything worth seeing, and grabbing...

I enjoyed staying here. The room was pretty good, and most importantly quiet. The location is a bit iffy as it borders some dodgy neighbourhoods, but it didn't bother me that much. Would tsay here again if in town. For breakfast I would recommend a walk to Dotties.

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice room, friendly staff, nice food (if a little expensive!) and great location. Exceeded our expectations and we would stay again. We didn't make it into the pool but looks lovely. Tip: go for a corner room on a high floor. Amazing views. Incredible. We slept with the curtains open to enjoy the views all...

The location is 2 blocks south of the Powell stop on the Bart. It's not at union square but definitely walking distance if you don't mind a stroll. Hard to find a hotel with a pool, hot tub, gym, etc., so definitely a plus if these are amenities you seek. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. Celebrated my fiancee's...

This was a most relaxing stay. The staff were great. It was a good feeling from the time I walked through the door. I was a little disappointed in the bed but it worked out ok. it had a rut I had to get used to. It might drop my rating to 4.8 but that's not one of my choices.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
