We stayed at the Parsonage for 4 nights in September/October last year. We decided to break up our 12 day stay in San Francisco by staying in 3 different neighbourhoods. Having stayed at the Parsonage we wished we had stayed there for the entire trip. The Parsonage is an amazing historic Victorian era house on the corner of Haight and...

My husband and I recently stayed at The Parsonage while in San Francisco for a wedding. We were totally charmed by the accommodations as well as by Joan and John, the owners. The house is lovely and we were made to feel like a member of their family. Our bed was so comfortable and we loved the heated towel bar!...

A lovely place to stay and experience the charm of a San Francisco Victorian home. Accommodations were comfortable and cozy. Lovely breakfasts from the gracious hosts were the perfect way to start the day, and the sofa in front of the fireplace on a gray wet afternoon with a cup of tea was the perfect escape from the rain. Great...

The owners were really nice and the room was also very comfortable. The fire place made it nice and cozy and the claw foot bathtub was very relaxing. My husband and I had a lovely weekend celebrating his birthday!

Loved this beautiful place. Perfect location. Only a few blocks from the Painted Ladies and within minutes from all the main sights. Decor is warm and elegant. Enjoyed our breakfast every morning in the Garden Room. We hope to be back soon!

I spent four days in this stunning place - and I was more that pleasantly surprised by the warmth and hospitality of the proprietors -not to mention the uniquely prepared and delicious breakfast offerings! My room was comfortable and quiet and you certainly can't beat the convenient location! Thanks for helping making my trip memorable and comfortable as well.

My husband and I spent three nights at the Parsonage in San Francisco. The inn is charming with so much history, interesting art (new and old) beautiful antiques and the inn keepers John and Joan were lovely hosts. Our breakfast each morning was filling and delicious. I would recommend the Parsonage unequivocally without hesitation. Our only regret was that we...

I stayed for six nights and I am so glad to have chosen the Parsonage. I had a wonderful time at this beautiful old house. It breathes victorian class. You feel like you are plunged into the 19th century. Beautiful furniture, high ceilings, tall windows in an oriel, tasteful decoration. Joan and John are superb hosts who will make you...

Past its prime. Good location.Tiny room, no chair, no closet, tiny window, depressing.NO housekeeping--there 4 nights--one night there was housekeeping--could tell because a dirty rag was left between our pillows.Told proprietor so he freshened another night which meant he made the bed, no clean bowl in bathroom, no folded towels etc.Breakfast was skimpy and coffee was on request and also...

Warm and comforting atmosphere; room was furnished with a great attention to detail to the time period. Bathroom was amazing! Wonderful crepes for breakfast. Joan and Jone offered a personal touch to the stay. They offered me a glass of wine and we had a nice conversation about the local history of the neighborhood. I used to live on the...
