Booked this place via booking.com as seemed to be v good value for money esp in SF. Room rate included free coffee in the mornings in the reception area plus fruit and 2 varieties of cereal bars. Also TV on wall plus computer and free printing access. Free wi fi which worked well. There is a 'Fish and Farm' restaurant as part of the establishment if you wanted a full breakfast which we did on our last morning. They stated all locally sourced food which seemed to be the case. The reception staff were attentive and always helpful. Room clean and excellent bed. En suite room fine but the shower area could have done with a spruce up/new grouting but was clean. Shower itself v good with a very adequate stream. A/C unit easy to operate (if needed). Along the corridor you can get free distilled water with plastic bottles always present 24 hrs. Between 5 and 6 pm every evening there is a free wine tasting session (sometimes with snacks) but we did not manage to get around to going since we were so busy doing other things and would arrive back 7 pm or later. Checking out procedure flawless. Highly recommend and will use again and also in other cities.

This hotel is centrally located to top attractions in downtown San Francisco. It is within walking distance to the Embarcadero which includes the Ferry Terminal Bldg, Pier 39 and ferry to Alcatraz. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel is open every day until 10pm which makes breakfast and a late night dinner easy to get. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus there’s a cozy lounge area and fitness center as well. My favorite part of the hotel was the free filtered water station with refillable bottles! Every hotel should have this!

I had an amazing stay at Club Quarters in SF. I was there on a work trip for about a week and genuinely enjoyed my time there. Their rooms were clean and spacious. Small amenities found in the rooms like the USB and phone charger outlets by the bed, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, yoga mat made the stay more comfortable. The winning feature for me was the guest launderette. As a stage manager I'm sometimes in charge of washing actor costumes so having one on site really saved me time and energy. Their evening wine happy hour is also another awesome treat, but I'm pregnant and couldn't partake, but my colleagues said it was great. The restaurant Fish and Farm has excellent food. Their salmon was delicious. And they're open early and close late which really worked for my early hours/late night schedule. Only complaint I have is that their mattresses are kind of soft. I prefer firmer ones. Perhaps if they rotated mattresses regularly that would help. Nevertheless, I'd highly recommend this for business travelers.

My wife and I stayed at Club Quarters for New Years. We were generally very happy with our stay. The location was great as it was a nice walk to all the tourist spots we wanted to visit. We give this hotel 3 out of 5 stars because we'd like some improvements.
The hotel lobby and "living room" is very clean but really needs some work when it comes to their amenities. The snacks they offer are in bulk jars. Banana chips and M&Ms are very low class. We received better snacks on the plane ride in. The espresso machine wasn't working each time we tried to make ourselves coffee. The room was clean but toiletries, towels, toilet paper, tissues are all of low quality. This is 2020, we as patrons expect a little more than just the basics if we're going to shell out top dollar for a room. The bathroom is not set up for 2 people to share. There was one towel hook and very little counter space. I think the management should stay in one of the rooms for a week (2 people) and see what improvements need to be made.

I was here for leisure. I travel frequently for work and immediately noticed how bare bones this hotel was. It’s a place to rest. That’s it. Don’t look for anything more. Liz was helpful at check in. She waived the early check in fee ($50) and allowed me to check in if I took a smaller room. Again, I just needed somewhere to sleep.

This is our 2nd stay at CQ. Our first was in Boston, MA.

At SFO CQ we had a room with twin beds. The room deco is minimalist but clean, but it can be claustrophobic if you are one who prefers a spacious accommodation.

The room is equipped with beverage machine but they only offer coffee. You are out of luck if you drink only tea. Just a heads up, they do not clean your room during your stay because of COVID. But they will supply fresh towels and toiletries on request. They provide one free bottled water and you can refill the bottle with chilled water by the station next to the elevator on every floor.

The temperature check machine at the entrance lobby is a good assurance but for petite guest under 5’ it can be a daunting task standing on tippy toe to get the machine to capture your temperature. The in-house restaurant is still not open to public yet.

Safeway supermarket is 2 blocks away. Starbucks is right next door. At this time the financial district is still very much a ghost town, hence nearby restaurants are still closed. Embarcadero Bart station is 4 blocks away. If you are an avid walker, walking to Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, Union Square is manageable.

When I needed to go to a nearby embassy, this place is the best! Clean comfortable rooms! The lobby is big. Staff accommodating! This pretty young black lady at the lobby ( sorry I forgot her name) made us an early check in! Thank you So much! The hotel makes use of recyclable water bottles and water are offered free per floor. The hotel offers free snacks too And this is also near food places and bus stops! What’s the best is I got the room at less than 85$ a night! Maybe good timing because when I plan to book another night two weeks later, the rate was 3x higher! Staying here won’t let you down!

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights. My main request was a quiet room and the hotel administration respected it completely. They are very much Covid-aware. Each time you enter they measure your temperature, and everything is super sanitized and hand sanitizers are everywhere. Rooms get a seal on their door after they were sanitized, everything inside is also clean. Hotel has also high security standards, you need to pass your card to do everything: open the hotel main hotel door, take elevator, open your hotel room… By the way they have even automatized the hotel main entrance door to avoid you touching it with your hands, so if you are very Covid-aware this is the right place for you! The room has a kitchenette inside, but it is not equipped due to Covid. It has also a work desk, so if you travel for work this is just a perfect place. I would also add what the hotel personnel, such as receptionists, are very polite, professional and attentive to client’s needs which I appreciated a lot. The location is also perfect, the hotel is close to Union square. Overall, I enjoyed my room, it was large and quiet. I enjoyed the location and the hotel personnel. If I come back to San Francisco I will definitely stay in this hotel again!

Our room was very small. ( 8 X12 ) The bathroom door has a two inch opening when shut. Others in the room will hear and smell whatever your doing in there. This hotel doesn't have a parking garage. Nearby parking is $45.00 a day. Hotel was clean, and staff was great. It's in a great location. Walking distance of everything the city has to offer !
