inexpensive and comfortable stay. Everything is professional and staff are kind and welcoming. Great for visiting SF, last but not least, awesome location, near to China town and close to everything. I definitely recommend it.

Really great location, walking distance to Chinatown and the bay. The staff were very friendly and inviting. I found the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. One of the only affordable locations I came across in the Bay area, I would recommend this place to anyone!

Located in walking distance of most of San Francisco's main downtown attractions, this hostel is in the ideal location. I stayed three nights here as part of my tour of the states and I was more than satisfied. With prices way below the average, I can only more than reccommend this place. The beds were comfy, showers nice and clean. The...

Absolutely looooved my time here! Everyone is so friendly and it's easy to meet other people and make friends to do things together. The hostel is really clean which I liked a lot even though everyone is hanging out in the public areas a lot. It's obvious that the people who work here really love it and take care of...

It took us a while to find the place because the entrance is small but once we made our way up to check in we found it was worth it. The staff was very fun and helpful. They were able to recommend many things to do and always met our needs. The bathroom/shower areas were a bit small and could...

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
