Nothing has changed from our previous, glowing review. The Inn is terrific on all levels, and we won't stay anywhere else when visiting San Francisco. This time, we really took advantage of the hiking possibilities right outside our door - just spectacular.

Spent 4 nights here in the Funston House part of the hotel. This is a seperate single level building a few yards from the main hotel. Simply decorated but clean room with tv, fridge, coffee maker, free wifi etc. Shower and tub. Good continental breakfast...More

Utterly charming Inn on the outskirts of town. Easily accessible to all that San Francisco has to offer but in a quiet pleasant location with some hiking on the doorstep. Nice service and a great room with plenty of character.

Had a 2 bedroom suite - spacious and reasonably priced in a wooded region of the Presidio. Building is in the National Historic Register and full of pictures from its storied past. History and wooded areas surround you while affording easy access to the city....More

it's about 45 minutes walk to fisherman's wharf area.

Depends on time of day/traffic but I'd say give yourself 45 minutes...
