This destination is fantastic for visiting San Francisco. The accommodations are wonderful at a great price and the high ceilings and huge bathtubs make it a visit to an older more lavish time. Having live theatre right in the building is a wonderful perk and the cocktail lounge on the top of the hotel is fabulous for enjoying the city...

We stayed here for a family trip and found the location wonderful! The location is next to union square and only a few blocks from the trolley that takes you down to the wharf. The room was nice and comfortable and the staff was amazing! Parking was also easy as they offered discounted parking for the garage just half a...

Before the review: the pricing. Apparently DownTown SF is known to be ridiculously expensive so I won’t expand on the high price we paid, I will just provide what I think to be the relevant elements independently from the bill we had to pay. Perfectly located at 609 Sutter Street in DownTown San Francisco, MMC features friendly and skilled staff...

Don't be thrown off by the "Marines" part of the hotel name. Anyone can stay here and enjoy great staff and service. Breakfast is unbeatable with designer omelets that you select the ingredients. The room was fine although I understand that many are being updated in the hotel. Every night there is a 2 hour happy hour where soft drinks...

When I first got there one of the elevators wasn't working. I was tired and annoyed. But it was only a brief glitch. The room was comfortable and well laid out. Quiet and restful. The public areas were sparkling and well decorated. The breakfast was perfect. But the very best thing was the staff. From top to bottom courteous respectful...

We wanted somewhere central with decent-sized rooms (as many SF hotels have very small rooms) and a relaxed atmosphere. We weren't disappointed. You can't really get a better location—we used it as a base to walk north to Chinatown, Little Italy, Fisherman's Wharf, Russian and Knob Hill; east to watch a baseball game at AT&T Park; south down to the...

This hotel was reserved for me and I liked the location and the restaurant in the 12th floor for the views and the friendly Staff. That was it. The rest is really bad. They just gave up. For starters, check the picture I took in my room: the roller blinds are so filthy that you can write with your finger...

Free hot breakfast buffet (it had a very large selection), free happy hour with 12th floor views of the city, free laundry, great location with easy access to public transportation, and they allow pets! The closest grass patch to walk your dog is at Union Square park (and it's only a patch), but San Fran is a rather walkable city...

We chose this hotel based on reading other reviews and we weren't disappointed. The hotel isn't what you'd call swish. It's quite homely maybe a little tired but comfortable. The room has a coffee maker so you can have coffee in the room. Beds are huge. Bathrooms are a bit limited for space and storage but are quite adequate. There...

Let me start with the cons: we paid 1200 USD for three nights for an old, small, not so clean and smelly room, with a minuscule bathroom (you would touch with your arms any two walls). One could barely turn in the bathroom that had only a child size bathtub which was way too small even for our 7 year...
