Enjoyed are stay at this centrally located hotel near Union Square. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fruits, omelettes, pastries, meats, and cereals. The complementary happy hour was a nice beginning to a wonderful evening. I will be recommending this hotel to others.

The Marine’s Memorial Club is set in a lovely historical building, with walls adorned with memorabilia and tributes to the Marine’s; lots to read and reflect on. We arrived from the airport via the BART train to Powell Station, and the hotel was an easy 15 minute walk from here. We stayed in room 312, which was spacious with a...

San Francisco is expensive. I get that. But when I walked into the dirty, dated, and cramped room at the Marines Memorial hotel, it felt like I was walking into a poorly-maintained value motel along some highway that people only stop at because there's no where else to stay; and paying four star prices for two star lodging. Following three...

This was our first stay at the Marine Memorial. We became members specifically to stay at the hotel for this trip. Booking was easily handled over the phone for a special package. The building is beautiful and well-located up the hill from Union Square with easy walking access to buses, cable cars, and the bart. Also in easy walking distance...

The hotel is located a short walk from Union Square and about a 10-15 minute walk from Powell Bart station. Not too difficult to locate. When we arrived at the hotel, the front lobby staff is engaged but she signaled to us that she will attend to us shortly. Very attentive and impressive service. Check in was fast and she...

THe rooms are pleasant and recently remodeled, and the location is in the heart of all of the main City Amenities of shopping,...

We spent an age researching places to stay in SF with two kids, including hotels, Airbnb and hostel world. All were very expensive and didn't offer the location we wanted. When I realised we could stay here as reciprocal club members we were delighted. Location is perfect; price is competitive for central SF; service polite and very helpful. Room wasn't...

This is an older hotel that contains a memorial to the USMC. Very interesting. The hotel is in excellent repair. Great service from all of the hotel staff. Amenities included a buffet breakfast and an open bar during happy hour in the evening. I look forward to staying there again.

This hotel was booked for us and was a complete surprise. The room was great - we had a suite that was full of amenities. The happy hour for guests was complimentary - also a nice feature. The decor was incredible - many historical references were on display about many moments in Marine Corps history. From what I understand, they...

I visited this hotel to see a show in their Theater, but did not stay at the Hotel. During intermission, my friends and I went seeking hot tea (no hot beverages at the concession stand for the Theater). We asked the gentleman working at the reception desk (his name is Sanjen, but I'm probably spelling it wrong) if he knew...
