We stayed in a room with a private bathroom which is on the corner of the building so you get the cool corner bay windows. Bed wasn't bad, better than a motel but not as good as say a Marriott. Bathroom was basic but very clean. Great location! Do be advised there is no elevator. Checking in was the only...

This hotel has some very good points: - It is clean - It is safe (in a safe neighbourhood too) - Cheap in comparison to other San Francisco hotels The reason I won't be returning are as follows: - Rude staff - there is no reason to be rude to visitors or paying customers whatsoever. - Unclean rooms - there...

This hotel is a good value for those traveling on a budget. Shared bathrooms are clean and well-kept. Room was spacious. Downfalls are noise as it is located at a busy intersection but in a great central location. Also no elevator so tough to drag a lot of luggage upstairs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall good value, just...

For $60/night in San Francisco, the "Standard" room at this hotel is good. I'm a light sleeper and slight germaphobe who is up for adventure, and I was pretty comfortable here. What would really make this hotel excellent is soundproofing every way they can, and attention to detail (scuff marks on walls and broken soap dispenser in lobby restroom.) It...

We paid ~$60 per night for two people and this is really good value in SF given the location and over all condition of the place. Our room was plenty big and had a faucet and a fridge and drawer sets and a tiny coffee table and we were generally happy with it. Of course it did not include private...

1-now it is two months that they are constructing while they are renting their rooms to customers. you are tired and you are sleep while the workers are working with big saws and non-stop hammer sound just near your room. they must close the hotel while they are under construction. but the greedy owner installed a plastic in front of...

As other reviewers have said there are definitely some down sides to this place. This staff is not super friendly nor helpful - when we checked in the front desk guy forgot to give back my credit card, with all our luggage we were trying to struggle up the stairs with (no elevator) I didn't realize until we were out...

Stayed here in June it was the worst experience of my stay in US.. The main road doesn't stop, so unless you go into a coma i suggest you get a room on the other side, the staff don't know nothing about anything, just getting a hello was like getting blood from a stone! all in all a bad place!

I'll start by saying the best thing about this place is its location, and that is about it. We stayed here for 5 days and had nothing but trouble with the front desk, manager, and billing situation. After offering my debt card for the required $50 hold, I had three temporary charges, totalling over $500 showing up in my online...

All the things that I heard about this hotel got confirmed. The location is great, close to Civic Center, the area is very safe at night and hip. The walls are pretty thin so you do hear other people at night but we were lucky not to have to much noise. There is no heating so it can get pretty...
