Alexis Park Hotel is located at the Polk Street which is a relatively rough area. (though it is located at downtown SF) There are a lot of streetsleepers and people with mental illness loiterring around. However, the hotel interior is newly furnished and clean. It is also one of the very little hotels providing free parking and breakfast. Feel like... More

It was a great place for a business stay and the manager was nice and interactive. Location is in downtown but very bad on one side. the room had coffee machine, tv, free wifi, awesome shower, etc. Parking was on site.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel and ended up staying here for 4 nights. The reception man was very friendly and chatty, very helpful. There were only a few negatives about our stay here. The breakfast is very nice and a reasonable selection, although they do run out of bread very quickly. The parking is very very... More

The neighborhood appears rough but I did not feel threatened. The bus service made it very easy to reach the tourist areas easily. The room was good value. It was clean without street noise or noise from other guests. The only down side were the pillows which were very uncomfortable.

First off this is located in the worst part of SF, not recommended if traveling with kids. Once checked in they charged an additional $250 for deposit of the room (FYI) which they don't tell you about when the reservation is made. The rooms were fine and cleaned, the beds were comfy, they have a keurig in the room, but... More

Check in was quick and easy, from parking to walking in the room took about 10 minutes. The room was very clean and all was quiet. We had chose this hotel because it was close to the venue we were visiting for the night. We felt safe walking at night and all was good

Here is your motel with all the things you need while in SFO. The Rooms are clean, the owner is very helpful but very busy. The attractions are very close by and some are walking distance if you are the type. The price is right for the location

The rooms smell of stale cigarette. Pretty sure we seen drug deals going on in the 30 minutes we sat in the car park. Felt so unsafe and so many homeless and shady looking people around. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Stay away!!

Due to the fact that Alexis Park is in San Francisco, this place is $100 more a night on a summer weekend than it should be. That said, you're in San Francisco, it's a weekend night, and it's the summer, so quit whining. And for a motel in this area, the Alexis Park is surprisingly decent. First, it has free... More
