We used this motel style hotel as base for exploration of San Francisco. It's very simple, but well located and with all basic amenities. Breakfast is limited continental (coffee, juice, apples, yoghurt, pastry) which you take from reception to consume at your room. In room...More
My husband and I stayed here for a week as part of our USA honeymoon. I have to say it was a lovely place to stay and so glad we chose it.

Our room had been updated in the past year or two. The bed was soft but supportive, which made it comfortable. We appreciated having a fridge and microwave. We cooled it down with the a/c sometimes too. Location was great. Walkable to Chinatown and fisherman’s...More

Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.

The Cable Cars are only 3 blocks away and there is a bus on the corner that will take you to the Wharf. No need to drive. Ghirardelli Square - the starting point of the Wharf - is only a 15 minute walk.
