Had a family member in the hospital of which I was emergency contact for. Checked into the hotel, had some confusion about parking that was cleared up, got to the room, and showered. I'd say, for the price, it was worth it from what I saw. I was able to lay down for about 45 minutes. Bed was a bit...

Recently stayed for 3 nights for a family visit to SF. We had two double adjoining rooms which were ideal for five of us. Good amenities and wifi provided, excellent staff service and a good location 15 mins walk to Fishermans Whaft & the Piers. Very good value for money & highly recommended.

This is a gem of a hotel. It is very clean and the staff is wonderful. It is also a short walk to the pier and all of the favorite attractions of San Fran. The rooms are quite at night and the parking is very secure.

I gave this motel five stars not because of the luxurious rooms or super service but due to the location and value for money. The motel is clean and rooms are comfy considering you will be out and about a lot. Free parking is a great bonus. Fisherman S wharf, cable car access and Ghiradelli square are in very easy...

The room was clean for the most part. Beds were described as queen - which means double. The room is modestly decorated, with attention needed to updating. The bathroom sink area could have used a little more than the edge of the sink for counter space (and a safer hairdryer) . The bathroom itself was kept clean - with the...

If your looking for a clean comfortable place to stay with a good staff and free parking this is it. No frills but a great local within walking distance of many SF attractions and close to public transport of all types. The staff was friendly and helpful and made honest and helpful suggestions on what to see and how to...

We came to the hotel for one night, the location is great, the service is good, the rooms are little bit old but have we need, free parking! the down side is that there is a lot of noise from the street. recommended for one night on the way.

A very reasonable price for a very nice room. Large sleeping area and large bath, all very clean and relatively modern. Fabulous location on Columbus, a few blocks to Fisherman's Wharf and in the other direction several blocks to many Italian restaurants and coffee shops. Elevator or stairs to three floors, FREE parking under the hotel. Good pressure in the...

Staying in Russian Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Russian Hill
Russian Hill has evolved into a chic residential neighborhood with outstanding views from every corner. Combined with several great cafes, restaurants, antique shops and boutiques, it’s easy to see why any visitor would gladly leave their heart in San Francisco. Cars line up day after day to drive down Lombard Street, the “crookedest” street in the world, and make the slow creep downhill past charming period homes. Polk Street is the main drag in this neighborhood, where you will find trendy bars, cafes and shops populated with locals, but for one of the most charming rides in the city, grab a cable car heading up and down Hyde Street.
