Very clean and roomy room. Parking is tight but available, so that's OK. I can't imagine anything better for less than twice the price, because it is as good as any of the other Inns (if not better), but was cheaper and better located than them in San Fran.

I do not know if I would stay there again. I appreciate feeling welcome. Meher (lady clerk was great, however, the next day we were greeted by 2 men that could be described as zombies! There presence was not the kind of customer service that is acceptable.

In the past thirty years, I have travelled a great deal on business, both home and abroad. Rare is the hotel that combines everything I desire at an affordable rate. The Francisco Bay Inn is located in downtown San Francisco not far from many of the City's best attractions. The hotel rooms were spotless, well appointed, quiet, and the staff...

First SF experience - sad really. Firstly we were told to come back later to check in after 2 pm when we arrived at 12pm. Then upon returning, we were told they were fully booked! Rather upsetting- especially when we have booked and paid the FULL PRICE at booking already!! She then had to book another hotel (given that we...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! It was just a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, which was absolutely stunning. The front desk was extremely helpful and was able to arrange a tour of San Francisco which brought us to all of the major attractions without the trouble of renting a car or navigating ourselves in unknown territory. Although...

The hotel had free parking, which was great. The room was nice and we were not disturbed by the traffic. The only problem was the staff. The lady was nice but the 2 men behind the front desk were just awfull. They had no idea of how to talk with guests and how to be pollite. We did not want...

The hotel was decent. Dont expect anything fancy. The front desk was a mixed bag. The lady was very friendly and helpful. The gentlemen were not friendly or helpful at all. Im not the type to deal with any front desk service so it didn't bother me at all. Parking was free which is good in San Francisco. The one...

On my wife's and i arrival we noticed the manager arguing with a woman who was also staying at the hotel, she told me to go by the sign in desk and made no apologies for the incident. I should have taken a clue about the service. The next night we noticed a strange odor coming from the adjacent room....

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
