We were on our 2 week honeymoon and found this place to be reasonably priced. We didnt mind it being outdated at all. Just a place to sleep. I booked through trip advisor, agoba, and paid in full before we arrived. When checking in, Cameron was very polite and helpful and I confirmed that we were prepaid for our stay....

We have stayed at this hotel from March 6 to 9, 2017. We had reservations until March 10 but decided to check out one night earlier after talking the the help desk and get their confirmations that we would have the credit of this additional night back. We have not received hotel receipt by the time of check-in. They confirmed...

The front desk staff on check-in was the only saving grace about this place. The upstairs room sounded like they were bowling all night. The room came with ear plugs because the traffic noise is insane. The shower was grimey and dirty. The check-out staff was snippy and curt, and his reaction to us asking for a receipt was a...

We stayed for 3 nights in a double queen as a family of 4. Probably the smallest double room we’ve stayed in so we had to be organised as we had 2 ski bags and 3 suitcases meaning space was limited. The bathroom however, was quite roomy! Parking in the main area was competitive at night but you could also...

Book from Hotwire without knowing what I am going to get. It was an amazing experience. The Building is totally renovated. Nice clean rooms. Wells stocked. Parking available for every guest. It is a very good location to drive around, go to fisherman wharf, to downtown or the crooked Lombard Street. The staff is very nice and responsive. No hassle,...

Despite reservation they sent me to another hotel. Bait n switch classic. Slum Ville and charged same price. Made imprint of my visa without telling me. Lied to me. Checked room and left. Offered to pay cash on checkout to get imprint back. Wanted an extra 100$ to use cash. Awful.

What a ghastly place we stumbled upon here. I know SF is rather overpriced and decent accommodation here can cost more than, let's say London or NYC, but for $250 plus tax per night for a motel, we expected at least a decent size room. No such luck. Worst VFM ever! Our musty smelling room (despite booking a de-luxe version)...

We booked this at the last minute, but we were not disappointed. A regular motel just a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf. It was clean and more than adequate. Free and ample car parking is a bonus. If you're a light sleeper it might not be your bag as the motel is located on a busy street corner. One night...

Stayed here for 2 nights with s friend and booked last minute (2 hours prior to arriving) Free parking a plus considering it's so expensive in San Fran, check in was quick and really nice and locations is great. Rooms are spacious with large bathrooms although dated and under sheets on bed was soiled, we had to get up early...

We have stayed here twice already and I believe we will stay again. This place has a great location and a free parking, which is basically all you can ask for in San Francisco. The rooms are not very big, but they are nice and clean. It is just right on a very crowded street, so it can get pretty...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
