My friend and I stayed in a twin bed room for one night (basement/souterrain, room numbers start with "1", not recommendable, it had everything that you need but just wasn't pretty or very cozy). Two nights in a double bed room (third floor, room numbers start with "4", very recommendable and cozy!). We never used the kitchen, so ? The...

We had a 2-night stay here and were quite satisfied. Small advice: bring some fruits for the breakfast. The hostel offers pancakes and you can easily top up :) the rooms have been very clean and in my opinion it's been a very good place to stay due to its central location and comparatively decent pricing.

The hostel is cheap and the rooms are clean. That's as much positive I have to share about this place. Unfortunately the management is difficult to get hold of and very inflexible in terms of your booking. We communicated our check-out dates upon booking whereas the management thought that we would stay including the night of the date stated. As...

1) The staff members were grumpy --each one of them Then they lied to me. I booked airport shuttle in the evening. Then after one hour, due to some tour cancellation I had to change plans and requested them to cancel and refund shuttle deposit. They lied that shuttle office was closed and they could not cancel--so deposit could not...

I was expecting this place to be what it is, well located but not clean (especially the smelly carpets). The atmosphere was weird too, especially at the make-yourself-pancake breakfast. But I had read that in other reviews. What I wasn't expecting was the awkward and insensitive situation I went through with the staff. As I was checking in, the guy...

Stayed in a private room with our own bathroom for 4 nights. The room was clean and cozy though it can be cool at night. Breakfast is provided with pancakes and tea and coffee. You can also do your own cooking and save some money though I recommend trying a lots of food in SF. Really satisfied experience

To be honest I'm not used to spending a hundred a night on a one star I thought that was disgusting.... although I guess San Francisco is very expensive for some reason ?! and this is the cheaper end of the scale I don't know?! It was ok, bit weird that we had to make our own beds after spending...

Hair on the "clean" towels, tape holding down what's left of the carpet...I asked the front desk how to stop up the tub to take a bath and was told they'd get back to me in 10 minutes. An hour later I went back to the front desk and was told that all tubs have been modified to make taking...
