Such a fine location, but the hotel is in GREAT need of a re do!! The rooms are comfortable, but a bit noisy. The walls are scruffy, and paint is needed everywhere. The service is good, but it is a shame that it is in...More

Thank you for highlighting our hotel's prime location and the good service from our staff. We appreciate you staying with InterContinental Hotels!
I understand your sentiment about the visible signs of wear and tear, especially on the walls. I'm sorry this has affected...More
Stayed in a deluxe King room on the 14th floor. Amazing city views. The bed was heaven and the room was well appointed. Enjoyed dinner in the room. Was not too bad. $$
The service is impeccable. Great Location between Wharf, Union Sq and Chinatown.
We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful place. It's so cool you'd love it. You can walk mostly everywhere, Pier 39, chinatown, Downtown, etc. It is on top of the Nob Hill and I have to say that is pretty steep if you are walking...More
This is my go-to hotel in SFO. We love the location and the historic nature of the hotel itself. After this recent experience, I will say that I agree with other reviewers who have noted that the hotel is in need of updates... and a...More

Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
