the stay was very nice. the only negative thing I could cay was my room was #22 so I was close to the early morning noise of a trash being picked up or emptied. I would stay again on my next visit and request a room further away from the noise factor

Petite Auberge is a very charming cozy little inn in the heart of busy San Francisco. A wonderful full breakfast was served each morning while Edith Piaf sang in the background. The charming sitting room was a welcoming site each evening. Rooms are tiny.

It's years that I keep returning. It is a very nice place, in a great location and everybody is extraordinarily kind. A lot of little touches that make you feel pampered: wine waiting for you in front of the fire in the afternoon, candid bathrobe, books in the room. Just lovely.

Very cute hotel with friendly staff. The wine and appies in the afternoons was a great way to meet people. Brekfast was lovely. The room itself was nice. Had a very small bathroom, but that was expected for an older hotel. Charming, quaint, close to amenities. Overall a wonderful stay.

Rooms were very quaint, of course, because of the age of the building not everything was perfect, but we weren't expecting that. However, for price of room, all was very good. Nice fireplace, good size room with very good linens, tasty breakfast with good array of fresh food, quiet when we needed it. Service very welcoming .

Nice place, nice food, nice people. Very good hotel. It is easy to access and not far from the Powell Station. Exceptionally, You can eat something at evening. If you dont eat more, that will searve you enough. The people are very kind, you shall feel a family when you live in it.

My husband and I recently stayed in a lovely top-floor room at this great B&B style hotel. We loved the place right away, starting with the warm welcome, great features (comfortable lounge, nice breakfast, daily fresh baked cookies, complimentary water/pop/coffee and of course the nightly wine + appies!) and perfect location close to the Powell/Mason street car lines and Union...

Two night stay in room 32. I was next to lift but did not notice noise particularly. Got noise from room above, but I only noticed when I was awake. Same for street noise. No fireplace and my radiator output was seemingly absent; this was fine with me as I love sleeping in a cold room (I still left the...

We went to this hotel for a romantic getaway from the kids. Note that while the location is very close to Union Square, you have to walk up a steep "San francisco" hill to get to it, which may be difficult for some people who plan to walk there with luggage. Also, its "sister" hotel is located two doors down,...
